There are enough weird circumstances involved that it makes me think it had to be put in intentionally.
- why is there a gap in the collision there? The terrain is basically flat, the wall is basically flat, it doesn't make sense that there would be any misaligned triangles
- It appears that, when you fall, you don't just fall into the floor. You fall down and then get teleported upwards. But not straight upwards, your horizontal position gets offset a bunch as well. This puts you above the stage at a not-quite-perfect position to get into that weird hallway
- The weird hallway. There appears to be no way to access it apart from falling into it from out of bounds. It connects to the maze, which is accessible from other areas, but why wouldn't that hallway just be part of the maze map? Why would it be here?
I'm not sure how to actually go about proving whether it was intentional or not, but these details irk me.
if you get past the fence in the maze area, it also takes you back to the hub, so it's most likely intended as a way to go from hub -> lonely door and vice versa in the full game
besides that, there isn't any actual gaps in the geometry, it's just some weird clipping that forces ENA in to the ground somehow, idk if anybody truly knows exactly how it works. but even decompiling the level shows that there's no gaps in the floor or the wall, someone proved that before
"The weird hallway. There appears to be no way to access it apart from falling into it from out of bounds. It connects to the maze, which is accessible from other areas, but why wouldn't that hallway just be part of the maze map? Why would it be here?" Now that is due to it being future content or a secret when asking a dev of the game they chose to stay silent about it for a reason
It could just be a shortcut for QA testers or developers?
It gives access to a part of the maze that's perfect for getting a trashcan exit, or for accessing the luxury store.
(I'm not sure if the hub glitch deliberate or not, because I can imagine the devs preferring to do noclip than try to fall through the terrain... Not sure we'll ever know... But version 1.0.6 still doesn't fix the terrain glitch (I haven't tried 1.0.7, but the changelog doesn't mention anything about it)
Maybe testers for the updates are really using this glitch?
Idk its def not intentional to get to the store because if you go to the store via enby skips entrance it will deload the entire boa
i realize that a lot of people arent even in the discord and probably will not see anything new with the game rules, so i am reposting it here in the news tab for everyone to see
- Runs will allow the use of a seeded save file. The only application currently is in Purge Event due to the Taxi Driver
