I'm interested in having a go at running this game and I was wondering if I'd be allowed to use a drawing tablet with the DS emulator for the game's touch inputs? I can include a handcam as part of the speedrun recording to verify it's legit :)

Drawing tablet is fine to use! The only thing we disallow is the use of more than one clicking method - for example clicking with both the pen and the mouse simultaneously.

A drawing tablet with pen is a more intuitive control tool, I also use it to click in osu game.

A simple model is okay, you don't need a very professional and expensive wacom.
