We lower the Elevator in advance and in the meantime quickly kill the sniper on the hill, after which we make a quick save+quick loading. If you were standing near the place where the Elevator was located when it was still at the top, and if you made a quick save+quick load during the process of lowering the Elevator down, the game will take you to this already descending Elevator after loading. This skip doesn't save a lot of time, but I decided to show it to anyone who might be interested.

So far, I haven't come across any other places in the game where this skip would work, but I still decided to give it to anyone who is interested
