I mismenued (restart level) on a similar pace in deviled gardens. I told myself I had to get it the next day. When I did runs again the next day I had an unhealthy mindset and got mad about everything. Played for a few hours then stopped after losing a run to Tallbuster of all things. The day after that, I had a much better mindset and got it first try. The mental aspect of speedrunning is really important.
