I'm considering between letting IL run times be from spawn to material collection and from spawn to evacuation. On one hand, I feel that doing the traditional IL run from spawn to collection can have a lot of competition but on the other hand, from spawn to evacuation just seems like a much more interesting run for people looking at the game/category, which may entice more runners, while also including satellite which doesn't currently have its own category. I don't care much for IL runs myself, so I want to hear from those that do. What would y'all prefer for an end point in the runs?
Personally i would prefer if the timer ended after killing yourself as 4 classified materials is required to safely leave and that is less of a single level run and more Any%. I personally found that a loot of the runs i spent a lot of time trying to kill myself and my teammate and that could be added as a rule if you think that doesn't overlap too much with death%, however if anyone other than my friend and i end up Speedrunning the levels i would like to hear their opinions. If these rules are implemented feel free to delete all of our current runs we will resubmit them with the new rules.
IL runs should end once you do the last action to finish that level. As soon as the green little thingy pops up (or actually a few frames before) the timer should stop. Playing until evacuation should not be a requirement for IL runs, because, they are IL runs.
