Explanation: Hacked file is a hacked save file that allows you skip the opening cutscenes of the game (everything up until you spawn in Delfino Plaza) by pressing A. When using this, you must start the timer at 5:40.07. Alternatively, you can use what's called "Peach file", where instead you only skip the first 2 cutscenes (the opening cutscene and the cutscene that plays when you get FLUDD). When using Peach file, you set your timer to 2:30.20. These files are allowed for speedrunning the individual game, but they're banned in the 1545 and the 602 for consistency. Hacked file is impossible to get on the 3D All-Stars version of the game, but Peach file is doable and allowed.

Note: For hacked file, a Wii is required to get the file on your memory card. However, you can use the memory card with hacked file on a GameCube.

Set-Up (Peach File): Start a file, collect FLUDD, Save and Quit. You now have a Peach file that you can Copy :)
