AESL : Battlespire Speedrun notes/guide

Timing starts on clicking "DONE" on the class screen. Timing ends upon striking Dagon and triggering the final cutscene.

Level 1.

  1. Drop a Teleport Anchor

  2. Head southwest, jump over the fire puzzle

  3. Take the leftmost hallway, kill the scamp in the adjoining room

  4. Back up, enter the next hall down, press the red button

  5. Back up, enter the next hall down and continue until the stone circle walls are lit

  6. Fully charge a standing jump, vault over the wall.

  7. Push Methats out of the way, stand on the centre platform

  8. Turn south, activate the door, type in "Boustrophedon"

  9. Continue straight down the hall, bag with 1st cog will be on a table on your right.

  10. Double back, step on the circle

  11. Turn south, return back up the hallway

  12. Go down the stairs at the east end of the room to the lower level (or fall down the stairs)

  13. Go south, fall down

  14. The 2nd cog is Southeast of your position, located under the dragon's skull.

  15. Teleport

  16. Go southeast, turn right into the hall, turn right again and continue uphill.

  17. Open the tall door on the left, press the button.

  18. Double back, enter the first hallway on your right.

  19. Press the button.

  20. Exit, go right, go right again, open the tall door and follow the path.

  21. The Dremora will likely fire a spell. Keeping close to the wall and diagonal walking will often cause him to whiff

  22. Follow the narrow hallway, click through the Vermai's dialogue if they open conversation.

  23. Go up the ramp, kill the scamp, loot the cog.

  24. Teleport.

  25. Go to the Northwest hall

  26. Open the door, follow the path to the bridges.

  27. Avoid the Sigil Wards and perform a Running Jump to the next bridge. Aim more to the right as Battlespire's jumps can have unnatural drifts to them.

  28. Continue northwest. When you reach the end of the platform, jump north to the next ledge.

  29. Walk up the slope, spam dialogue if it shows, and kill the Dremora.

  30. Claim his cog.

  31. Teleport.

  32. Moving clockwise, enter the northeastern hallway.

  33. Follow the path, ignoring the enemies if they spawn.

  34. Press the red button on your right.

  35. Spam-Activate the centre console 5 times to place all 5 cogs.

  36. The large door behind the console will open.

  37. When the door is open, running jump to the centre platform, avoiding the Dremora.

  38. Right Click Speed to increment the attribute by 10. Click Exit. Press "Y" to confirm.

Level 2.

  1. Spawn in, travel north, turn right into the hallway.

  2. Turn left, open the double door, go left around the table and straight ahead to the next room.

  3. Activate the coffin to move it, activate the button behind it (spam activate until you get it)

  4. Enter the door behind you. Go up the steps.

  5. Kill the spider Daedra and loot the Meht Sigil Key

  6. Retrace your steps, go past the double doors and continue straight on.

  7. Follow the path until you reach a gap in the path, jump it and turn left.

  8. Down the steps, enter the room at their base, turn right and jump towards the wall.

  9. Open your inventory and collect the Voidguide piece.

  10. Double back, cross the hall and continue forward.

  11. Speak to Rishaal. Conversation 1, choose bottom, top, top. Conversation 2, Bottom, bottom, top.

  12. The password to the door behind her is "horse."

  13. Survive until the door lifts, and enter to access the next half of the level.

Level 2b

  1. Spawn in, turn west, and begin accessing each hallway.

  2. First Hallway, enter, ignore the scamps, click the Mace hanging above the door frame (listen to noise it makes as confirmation)

  3. The mace moves a stone slab at the other end of the room, revealing a passage. Enter, and pick up the Scourge.

  4. Got to the opposite hallway.

  5. Activate the rug.

  6. Take the elevator down. Make sure the scamps don't knock you off.

  7. Pick up the Voidguide Piece. If the elevator goes up without, activate the lion statue.

  8. At the end of the main hallway, activate each of the 3 doors. Enter either the left-hand or righthand side door.

  9. At the end of the left-hand hallway is a library. Read the first scroll, and turn around counter-clockwise to avoid conversation.

  10. At the end of the righthand hallway, activate the first stone slab on your right.

  11. Go down the passageway, diagonally moving while looking right to avoid conversation.

  12. Double back, enter the large doorway.

  13. Navigate pass the enemies, drop an anchor at the far end of the room.

  14. Go left down the winding hallway.

  15. Enter the second room you see on your left. Stand near the bed, open your inventory, pick up the Voidguide piece.

  16. Continue further down the hallway.

  17. Kill the Spider Daedra next to the Sigil Ward.

  18. Take the Sigil Amulet Key, go through the Ward, follow the path.

  19. Jump the table, talk to the Blue Lady twice.

  20. Always select bottom dialogue choice.

  21. Use Teleport.

  22. Enter the top right hallway.

  23. When the room opens up again, go right.

  24. Enter the room on your right, pick up the Voidguide piece off the table. Exit, go right.

  25. Place all the Voidguide pieces on the activator at the far end of the room.

  26. Turn 180 degrees, stand on the platform to access Level 3.

Level 3.

  1. Laugh at how different this place is from Dawnguard.

  2. Go North, enter the righthand hallway.

  3. At the end of the hallway, step onto the elevator.

  4. Follow the path, turn left, turn left, kill the Morphoid Daedra, loot his Sigil Amulet Key.

  5. drop down, go north.

  6. Enter the courtyard, go left.

  7. Enter the hallway.

  8. Jump into the pool of water.

  9. Clip through the wall; if it doesn't work, raise the visual quality to high, sink, ram into the northern wall until you clip through.

  10. Go north-northwest.

  11. Access the end of the level from the top left corner of the map.

Level 4.

Thought level 3 was fast?

  1. Go north.

  2. Follow the path, go up the elevator.

  3. Look to the right to avoid conversation, enter the hallway.

  4. Drop down the left side of the bridge.

  5. Look north, ram through the wall. Alternatively, drop down the right, and clip through the corner where it meets the river.

  6. Go northwest Don't go too far north, you'll clip back in bounds.

  7. Go west until you no longer see the level on your right. Turn 90 degrees right, go forward,

  8. Clip through the wall, avoid the enemies, stand on the central well to access Level 4.

Level 5.

  1. Don't look at the Daedra Seducer, avoid her conversation. Step off the side of the pier, and go east.

  2. Go into town, find and kill the first Fire Daedra you see.

  3. Take his inventory.

  4. Go east passed the cemetery.

  5. Enter the tower, ignore the enemies.

  6. Pick up the key, and exit heading north.

  7. Enter the Emerald Building.

  8. Walk up to the centre podium, open inventory, take the key.

  9. Exit, head west.

  10. Enter the fort grounds.

  11. Pick up the key via your inventory at the centre of the fort grounds.

  12. Go North.

  13. Drop an anchor as the grey path verges right, and venture north west.

  14. Follow the hill and enter the Temple.

  15. Jump to the other end of the room, pick up the key, exit the Temple.

  16. Teleport.

  17. Head east to the water, and swim passed the boat, following the shoreline of the beach on your right.

  18. Swim ashore when you see the raft/tower.

  19. Enter the tower, stand on the platform, charge a jump facing south.

  20. As soon as possible, jump, land on the table, pick up the key.

  21. Exit the tower via the same platform.

  22. Head north, to the northeastern pinnacle of the island.

  23. Jump across the gorge.

  24. Head in through gates, wrap left, enter the double doors across from you.

  25. Rotate left, open the doors, up the stairs and through the ceiling shaft.

  26. Turn 180 degrees, kill the Herne.

  27. Take his key, jump down, venture east towards the chapel.

  28. Save upon entering.

  29. Use the escalator, cast etherealness to avoid damage & knockback.

  30. jump onto the wooden beam to finish the level.

Level 6.

  1. Go North until you see a gate

  2. Activate the log on your left to open the gate and continue north.

  3. Step on the elevator.

  4. Activate both buttons and place an anchor next to one (not on the elevator, you'll drop potentially glitch on the elevator)

  5. Go North.

  6. Activate the largest drum on your right, next to the tent.

  7. Continue North, kill the Daedra Count, take his Iya Sigil Amulet Key/Loot his Body

  8. Activate the winch on the left of the gate door, and enter the door.

  9. turn left, go passed the Iya sigils, take the elevator up two floors.

  10. Talk to Imago Storm. 2nd, bottom, then spam top.

  11. Take the elevator back down one floor, jump off, jump towards the large door.

  12. Exit. Teleport, then head east.

  13. Ignore all the enemies, continue east until you find Xivilai Moath.

  14. Speak with him, note his nymic, get his key.

  15. Teleport, head west.

  16. Save/Load so the game doesn't crash.

  17. Enter the western hall, turn right, enter the northwestern hallway. Follow until the mirror room.

  18. Enter the middle Mirror. Ignore all enemies, turn right, step into the ring and kill the Clannfear. loot his corpse.

  19. Return to the Mirrors, enter the left Mirror.

  20. Turn left, head down the hall and speak with Faydra Shardai.

  21. Banish her and steal her key. Top dialogue, 2nd dialogue, 3rd dialogue.

  22. Teleport. Head North, enter the keep.

  23. Take the elevator up, activate the lantern 3 times.

  24. Exit the level.

Level 7.

  1. Cross the bridge.

  2. Kill or avoid the Dark Seducer & wraith.

  3. Knock the tree over or jump to cross to the island.

  4. Kill the Dark Seducer and loot her corpse.

  5. Jump back. and jump to the main island.

  6. On the opposite side of the main island, speak with the wraith floating next to 2 potions.

  7. Climb the main island.

  8. Kill any 1 Daedra Lord at the top of the island, and loot his Sigil Amulet Key.

  9. Enter the Hunting Lodge.

  10. Straight up the stairs, kill the first Daedra Lord you see.

  11. Loot his corpse, open the double doors.

  12. Kill one of Daedra Lord inside the double doors. Loot his Sigil Amulet Key.

  13. Climb the steps, ride the elevator, activate the 2 orbs, enter the light.

  14. Equip the Broadsword of the Moon Riever

  15. Speak with Dagon, spam his dialogue, swing at him, ggs.
