[section=How to Read These Notes]
These notes were written up by indykenobi for his own use. Here's how to decode his short hand:
Presenting ----------------
- In Court:
S# (E/P)X.Y (...) - this means on statement #, Present the Evidence (E) or Profile (P) on page X in slot Y, where the slots are numbered 1-4 from left to right on the top row and 5-8 from left to right on the bottom row. The stuff in parentheses is shorthand for the cursor movements; for example, DR.R means to go down-right, then right.
Present (E/P)X.Y (...) - this means the evidence menu will pop up automatically; present the evidence as described above. - In Investigations: Present (E/P)X.Y (...) - this means enter the Present Menu, and present the evidence/profile as described above. Sometimes the Present menu will pop up automatically.
Pressing -------------
- S# P means Press the # statement in the testimony.
- SA P means Press all statements in the testimony
- SN P means Press the new statement (no movement necessary).
- SN+X P means Press the statement that is X statements after the new one
Miscellaneous -------------------- X/Y means to choose the Xth option out of Y choices; so for example, Opt 2/3 is to choose the second of three choices. This applies to Talk, Opt, and Move.

[section=Perceive Mechanics]
The perceive mechanic breaks a line of testimony into multiple phrases; during one of these phrases, Apollo can Perceive the witness's tell. In the notes, these lines are written up as follows:
- S# Perceive (##) - Description
This means on the # statement in the testimony, activate Perceive, then on the ## phrase of that statement, find the tell at the described location.
Advancing Phrases ---------------------------
The text speed during Perceive segments is glacially slow, and at first glance, it seems like you cannot speed it up. However, by pressing "Perceive" at the top of the touch screen, then pressing "Back", you will advance to the next phrase in the statement. Thus, to Perceive a tell on the third statement, for instance, you would press:
