Got a question before I fully dive in for some speedruns:
Is there plans to address the (possibly) significant time penalties caused by slower loading times between biomes?
Can see this as a problem if more people try to pick this game up for speedrunning, and their times being impacted by a slower PC/console load.
How does this work in coop? I've only tried it once and I don't remember if players can load into zones before others. That could lead to some complications around loadless time.
The usual approach is to make a load remover for livesplit, which doesn't typically work for consoles.
I see it will pose significant issue in coop as some players will load into biomes slower than other players. It'll be much more problematic with speedruns.
In particular: someone loading into the biome on an SSD will actually be quite a distance ahead of those who load in slower.
