PlayingLikeAss made us aware in the discord a few days ago that the load remover doesn't update at the correct speed at 30fps and it results in incorrect faster times. Because of this, I've had to remove all the mistimed runs from the leaderboard. This is a pretty bad error on my part, as I hadn't noticed when verifying runs or learning the run from affected vods. I'm genuinely sorry for the mistake.

The load remover in LiveSplit has been updated to time things accurately from now on, so if you want to play at 30fps that should be fine now. Huge thanks to PLA for noticing this and for fixing it quickly.

Apologies for the delay, but PC submissions for Like a Dragon Gaiden are now open! To go along with this there is a public load remover for Gaiden available in Livesplit. Users PlayingLikeAss and StreetBackGuy have done an outstanding job giving us one of our most comprehensive load removers yet with a lot more of a fair playing field. You must use this load remover for runs if you are on PC. If you've been helping us test the older versions of the load remover then thank you very much. If you were a tester those older versions are unapplicable for submission. Please do runs with the public version of the load remover.

Rules for the PC version follow the usual rules for the rest of the Dragon Engine entries. FPS must be locked to 60 and there must be an FPS counter at all times. This FPS counter must be viewable and not obstructed at all times or your run will be rejected. Audio must also be present in full for the run. DLC (Preorder bonuses like Daigo, Majima and Saejima in the Arena) are banned.

Console runs must be submitted under "Real time attack" and as per usual not using the games IGT as it is highly unreliable. No other changes for console submissions.

Thank you for your interest in running Like a Dragon Gaiden. Currently the leaderboard is accepting runs for Console. We are currently not accepting runs for PC, but hope to rectify this soon. Allow me to explain:

In the past we have had issues with things not being fully ready and not being able to rectify the issue. In Gaiden's case the wonderful folks working on the Load Remover have identified a lot of key issues which need to remedied before it can be used properly in runs. For instance some peoples set ups actually have the load remover save them more time than others. We have decided that for the sake of fairness for everyone on the board we are not allowing PC Submissions until these issues are fixed. The folks working on the load remover are making amazing progress and we should hopefully have submissions for PC open in the next few days.

Console runs are unaffected by this issue and are able to be submitted now.

Please keep in mind that even if you are running ahead of time the rules for the run. FPS must be capped at 60, your FPS must be shown at all times and ALL DLC (Majima, Saejima and Daigo in the Arena) are banned.
