How to download Thunderstore and install/use Mods

Keep in mind you **always** need to start the game with the **modded blue button.**

Then select Properties ---> Betas  and the version you want.

(for now we have no solution to start modded LC with thunderstore for all others versions like v40, v45... , if someone has a solution, contact us on the discord).


How to play older versions with mods

This is an easy tutorial on how to play older versions with allowed mods, so you don't need to lose your mind with downloading anything!

Note: To add any mod you want, go to thunderstore, look for mod you want to add, search for latest version BEFORE some kind of update. Download it and put it in directory BepInEx/plugins/(modfolder). Sometimes it will need a config file as well, for this just look for BepInEx/config directory.

Dates for versions:

v40 - anything before December 9th 2023

v45 - December 9th 2023 - January 7th 2024

v49 - January 8th 2024 - April 12th 2024

v50 - April 13th 2024 - July 5th 2024

v56 - July 6th 2024 - August 17th 2024

**KNOWN ISSUES:**

- LCSeedPicker not consistent on v40 - few items are not consistent (quantity and values stay the same, thejust spawn in different places)

Here are some tips:

1. The mod allows you to CTRL C --> CTRL V
2. Don't forget to put the Moon before using the Seed code.
3. Seeds only work with **the version that they were generated** **on**. For example: a seed on v49 will not be the same on v50 and vice versa.

ModLister Tutorial

When you have finished a run, each POV is required to show their ModLister document to verify that no one was using any non-approved mods.

**All of these steps must be shown during the submitted video(s) to verify the integrity of the ModLister text document**

To check your ModLister text document follow the steps below or watch the video tutorial at the bottom of the guide

1. Open Thunderstore Mod Manager
2.  Navigate to Lethal Company on Thunderstore
3. Select the "Modded boards official" mod pack
4. Select the setting button on the left hand side of the window
5.  Under "All" and click on the open door icon on the right of the "Browse profile folder" tab
6. This should open file explorer now open the "BepInEx" folder
7. Open the "plugins" folder from here
8. Open the folder "Ccode_lang-ModLister" folder
9. Open the "Mods" text document
