To improve accessibility and reduce the risk of RSI when speedrunning Another Crab's Treasure, the community has approved the use of an AutoHotkey script for text mashing. Thanks to the Death's Door speedrunning community for providing the codebase for this.

To use:

- Visit the [AutoHotkey website ](https://www.autohotkey.com/)and download AutoHotkey v1.1 (the Deprecated version), then download this script.
- Double-click on this script in your Downloads; it should automatically prompt you for two things: 1) What button you want to press to initiate the mashing, and 2) what you have Interact bound to in-game (if you use controller or default keybinds, that button is "e". Do not hit Shift when you input these buttons, as the AHK script reads shift + a key as different from just that key.
- Add a Window Capture to your OBS, and set it to capture the window ACT_SkippingOverlay. 
- Right-click on the source; add a Filter -> Color Key -> color key out #000000.
- Place the overlay somewhere on your layout that does not obstruct your UI (bottom-center is a safe spot if you can't place it outside your game capture altogether).
- When you go into the game and hold down your desired spam key, a window should automatically pop up and be captured by OBS that displays "ACT Auto-Mash Active" whenever you are holding down the spam key.
- If you submit a run using this, set your Text Skipping variable to "Auto-Mash". The Window Capture *must* be visible in the submitted run when the automasher is in use.

Save Data is in AppData\LocalLow\Aggro Crab\AnotherCrabsTreasure\Save1 (or Save2\Save3). Enabling Save Slot 2 in UST is recommended and using 2 of the 3 available slots for this game. From the ACT main menu, you can alternate between the 2 slots you chose to prevent having to quitout twice to refresh your primary save slot. UST v1.3.3 and beyond automatically backs up the most recent of your 2 chosen save slots, so you can create saves at any time no matter which file you're on. Enjoy!
