I was wondering the same thing. Building an end portal isn't allowed so I presumed you had to enter the legitimate one that the map makers intended, so I always ignored the first one (since it doesn't actually always show up on all versions)

does this community use IGT timing like Minecraft itself, or RTA? i.e. do loading and pause times count as part of the run?

I had an idea: creative mode method, but you'd just build another end portal when you got into the end, therefore finishing the game. Would it count, or do you have to go into the end portal that already is in the level?
