To suggest new categories and find people who might want to run them you should join the Discord server, we even have a spreadsheet for unofficial categories, if other people are interested then yeah it could become a real category ::D I'm not sure if the pile aspect would be possible since most objects don't actually have an hitbox but it could be a cool challenge to gather everything, and I don't think it's been done before! (for ultimate difficulty you could also add some reels)

Congrats for the PB! Since you are using Livesplit you should try using the autosplitter, it would pause the timer when sleeping and during the loading times + you wouldn't need to split manually. If you need help with that (and even if you don't), you should join our Discord server, to do that just click on the Discord icon below the follow button ;;)

Interesting discovery made possible by Aveth's "mask skip". This will be useless for any% but it may be interesting for the 100%.

As you probably know when you start the game for the first time you are free to roam around without being killed by the supernova after 22 minutes. After some test it appear that what trigger the countdown is the mask cutscene, so thanks to the mask skip you can actually reach your ship and explore a solar system that isn't dying. Here are the differences : -The sun doesn't die (apparently infinite time) -The sun station doesn't disappear -The interloper doesn't disappear -The brittle hollow doesn't collapse -The Ash twin doesn't lose her sand/the Amber twin doesn't gain any sand -You can't see any supernova in the sky ... Basically every no-loop event doesn't take place before you trigger the mask but everything else work correctly (angler fish, tornadoes, jellyfish, meteorites, ice on the interloper, quantum moon, "sand wall" on the amber twin, ...) After doing what you had to do you can come back on timber hearth and trigger the cutscene, interestingly at this moment you lose your spacesuit and your spaceship come back on the launchpad. This allow for a 100% path like : -Everything that you can do while being able to coming to your ship -Quantum moon -Mask trigger -What you have left as usual

But take care, as you haven't linked with the AshTwinProject if you die before the mask cutscene you have to start over, you'll lose all your progression.

I got some new things :

1. After Aveth's mask skip you can directly go to the left, but take care.

2. Useless but if you want to start doing any% but can't do any of the other strats this one is fairly easy, and still better than the intended/basic way. Only tricky part : from the first rock to the second one you need to gain some momentum.

3. Probably the best strat actually. A few second slower than the tree one but way more consistent. Their is actually at least 2 other ways to climb that wall, to do one of them you need to look where you ship is when you are on the second rock, but i can't do it consistently yet. Explanation of the 3 jump as done in the video : You need some momentum for the first one but it's not too hard. second one is easy once you know the spot. Third one is a bit more tricky. First, try to get as high as possible on the rock, as shown in the video, then you need to build a very small amount of momentum while charging you jump, if you stop pressing forward soon enough you can be sure that you'll either make it or land on that second rock again (instead of falling below the branch). That's what i got after only 20 min so it may partly be false or not the best way to do it

The only ones I'm sure about are in The Ash Twin where there are about the equivalent of 5 walls that you can also find in different places and that summarize the history of the ATP. Also I just tried on a few walls and yes, as expected you don't have to read the full wall to get a ship log.

This one seem really hard to do consistently, but if someone somehow can do it he should go to the left once he is on the roof, i can confirm that you can (barely) survive the fall from the 2 trees to the normal way

Hey, i found some probably new tricks for the any% run, all in the very first area : Sorry for the poor quality :(

1. Probably save ~1 sec i would say, really easy to master, you just have to look at the rock while entering into the corner.

2)A bit harder but can probably save a few seconds at least if done correctly.

3)Likely save around 10 sec but really hard for the moment, i'm pretty sure that i've done it differently the first time. Try it yourself and let me know if you find a consistent setup ;)
