Dimensions change for different seeds.

You have to use the same seed for every version when you run All Versions SSG.

MineHut uses PaperMC, but only vanilla servers are allowed for co-op runs. It still uses Paper even if you have no plugins installed. Not sure if you can disable paper and switch it to a vanilla server.

You'd have to identify the start of the structure. Every structure has a structure start. A stronghold start is the spiral staircase leading into the 5-way room. Fortress starts are crossroads with the center at an (11, 11) chunk coordinate (but there can be multiple per Fortress AFAIK). Village starts are at one corner at the center of the village where the bell is. You can find where the start is using /locate or viewing these structures on a tool like Amidst or MineMap. The location found with /locate or MineMap/Amidst is the start of the structure (more specifically the start chunk, which is all that matters). Using this you can probably memorize some starts to structures. The region that the start is in is also the region that the structure spawns in.

Note: @ above. The quadrant that most of the structure is in is not necessarily the region the structure spawns in. In theory you could have a ++ region Fortress that spreads to the +- region, with most of the Fortress in the +- region (even though the Fortress is ++).

I've noticed that a majority of Mine Chunk runners aren't active on the speedrunning Discord server, so I've decided to make this forum post detailing my recent seed finding efforts for finding an ideal Mine a Chunk Overworld SSG seed.

I've written a program to search for multiple 5.5+ block wide ravine starts facing the same direction near (0,0). The idea is to have two 8+ wide ravines side by side, meaning that the ravine cuts out the entire chunk. The results are below. Each seed is a structure seed, and there are 65k other sister seeds with the same cave (assuming (0,0) is not an ocean) but potentially better biomes. Next to the seed is the maximum amount of air blocks I've been able to fit in a chunk below y=63. (Note that there are only 15,000 total blocks, air and non-air, from y=5 to y=63 in a chunk)

Some runners may be familiar with my Mine a Chunk Nether RSG WR, in which I used toolsmith starts to quickly get multiple pickaxes with efficiency. For an SSG seed, I looked for a seed with an igloo. An igloo has a 50% chance of spawning an underground basement, where you can cure a zombie villager to get a villager who will give you discounts. If you make the cured villager a toolsmith, you can unlock the master pickaxe trade with only 10 emeralds and 12 iron. Once unlocked, the enchanted pickaxe trade will only be 1-3 emeralds. Furthermore, this trading can be done without any restocks, bypassing the need to wait for the second day in order to utilize the infinite restocking in 1.14.4.

After searching through viable sister seeds of the structure seeds shown above, I have arrived at this seed: 252764828019341411. Featuring a 10,000 air block ravine and an igloo, this seed has the potential for a sub one hour time. Right now, a sub-one hour is 40 minutes faster than the fastest run on the boards/in the queue. You can also make a simple IGF, which would get you enough iron in 3 hours, but definitely slower than igloo or bastion.

On the bright side if the mods add Get to the Nether Roof sometime Doggo15 will already have a run.

For certain keyboards, you need to press the "fn" key to activate F3. This is the only idea I have in terms of preventing accidental F3.

@AlphaRobot Unfortunately texture packs that make ores more visible are not allowed.

I would recommend running an SSG category first to improve your movement and menu speed. Something like SSG Any% or All Minerals if you're into the Category Extensions.

If you're on 1.14 make sure to not trade on the first day. If you're not on 1.14 don't trade.
