I mentioned this in the other thread but maybe here would be better. I was suggesting that a runner has to have 100% item pool before being eligible to submit a run -- unless they're doing a no upgrade and aug run since you wouldn't use those anyways. Also wouldn't apply for rush job since you're given items whether they're in your item pool or not. I suggest this because at the current moment there is no way to reduce the item pool; all item pool purchases are permanent. This would be an issue for those who unlocked a full item pool for whatever reason since they'll be at a clear disadvantage to those who have a small optimized item pool. The game doesn't get easier with an increased pool, it actually gets harder since it'll add more useless pick ups (magneto helmet, energy upgrades for attack builds, attack upgrades for energy builds, etc.)

For the record I have an optimized item pool, so this isn't just a full pool player QQing about a past mistake. I just wanna run the game on an even playing field with everyone.

So I've been interesting in doing runs of this game, however I was wondering if there were some rules that could be added? Since the game doesn't allow you to drop items out of the item pool I was wondering if it can be made a requirement to have every item bought before being able to submit a run -- this way people who have already played the game and bought all items (either for fun/perfectionist/for the achievement) aren't at a permanent disadvantage for those who have an optimized item pool. Also I'm not sure if this was already the case but using the final game timer you get after the escape sequence at the end. Another request is if it's possible to add a Defiant category, since the health and energy count in defiant is lower than normal. Some of the other rules look like they've been addressed such as no buying items before the run in an any% and no seeded runs
