Sorry about that! I am the only active mod at the moment and not that active in speedrunning anymore. I try to review all runs once every week but it doesn't always work out and regarding the full game runs delays tend to occur. If anyone wants to help out feel free to message me.

I dont think that adding ms to the leaderboards is a good idea. You may be right that the constant WR ties especially in the earlier levels is not only "wrong" but also kinda dumb but the reason we refrained from that in the beginning was that many people dont really have a good phone and the video footage is really laggy most of the time so it would be impossible for me to exactly retime the run. This would in return lead to me rejecting every run that could not be/ didn't get timed correctly which would thus lead to the game becoming dead again because people lose interest. BUT theres also the logical reason that we would need to retime every IL run so far which is also pretty messy. I don't think it's worth the effort but let me know what you think!

Well the discord we used to have was a subsection of the NSMB speedrun discord. I would be open to it but I don't know if the community is big enough that it would be worth it (It's kinda the reason the last one "failed")

Even though it sounds like a fun idea I don't think it's feasable as a category as we already have way too many categories for IL runs with almost only Any% runs (I'm implying that we would need to add this as a sub category for every level and every category (all pink, purple, black, and any%)). This sounds more like a misc or category extensions category tbh. Even if we would add something like this I would probably only do it for either full game runs (which is not only ludicrous but probably impssible) or at the least full world runs. But yeah, as MrCafecito said, if there really is enough demand I think we could add something along the lines of that.

Look at the rules and if its not mentioned there youre good to go

Not wanting to sound rude but it should be obvious, that we are not going to verify first place 'No Video'-runs. Will ask the other Mods what they think about this though. I would not have anything against putting it in the rules.

@Prawnik675 Not only that. He's pretty much making money out of other people's content without adding anything new to it (And in this example, even more than the original creator). It's a shame that people like him get that much attention. If he would at least edit the video properly or would add some original content to it... I mean, if he would show some parts of the video (Not the entire one) and then give his own opinion and analysis about it (Maybe putting some actual funny "jokes" along the side) It would be fine by me, because it's somewhat original and entertaining. (Even though I have to say that a speedrun isnt a great example of a "good" video to react to in the first place. An opinion based video would be a much better example.) Content like this is the real cancer of youtube and also one of the many reasons why I distanced myself from youtube in 2016. I know that this post probably doesnt belong to here but I still wanted to get my opinion out because Im just really upset that people like him get so much attention, even though they basically just reupload an already made video.

Wouldnt it be better to get some new mods into the crew then? I dont know if anyone is willing to become a mod but from an outsider's perspective it seems like a new mod would be a good solution to this problem. Just to submit someone, StreamingFire would be a good mod imo. since he knows most of the categories very well and runs them himself, he would qualify as a good mod. Of course Im not the one to decide this but I just wanted to get my opinion out :)

Well im kinda new to speedrunning not gonna lie, but im trying to speedrun Outlast in the Glitchless category for a few weeks now. Theres only one problem: I cant make a split when im ingame and that costs me a lot of time. I play in windowed mode and i have the "always on top" box checked but it still doesnt work. My PB atm is 54:12 but would do a lot better if I wouldnt have to tab out all the time just to make a split...

Just to throw my opinion in: Since I run LiS on PC without a controller I already have a great disadvantage + even after countless times of trial and error I can't get the OoB parts right so that's also a disadvantage. For me to get a sub 6h run is nearly impossible, so creating a OoB category/variable would be really useful. "Other games with glitchless categories have the same people running both extremely often" so what? Thats not really a good point since it wouldn't be much of a problem if the same people would run it extremely often. (And btw I dont think that would happen, because one run of LiS takes a long time) "There's only currently two(?) skips in the run" Yes, there are only 2 skips, but they are extremely hard to perform (at least for me) and they safe about 5 minutes wich sounds like nothing compared to a 6 hour run but for me its really means much because I already have it way harder. "The chances for them doing the glitches are 0% 'cuz simple reason "they don't like doing glitches on their speedrun" so no risk/reward applied for them." that and I'm to bad to perform them :D. I just said that if you fuck up a skip you can start all over and since this is a really long game you can only do this like once. Just to clear things up: I know, because this game isnt popular for being speedrunt I can understand why you dont want to create a category but I thik OoB being tracked as a variable is the way to go.

Would it be possible to add an "No OoB"-Section to the Speedrun Categories of this game? In my opinion it would be pretty useful since the OoB parts of LiS are pretty glitchy and can potentially ruin your whole run... Im just saying, because a run of this whole game takes a long time. On the other hand if you say it's unnecessary because this isn't a famous game for speedrunning I can see where you are coming from. In the end the mods decide but I just wanted to throw that in ^^
