Hi RetroTorpedo,

I personally don't know the answer for that question but you'd get a much faster answer if you did that question on the gen 1-3 psr discord.

The link for the discord is the following: https://discord.gg/NjQFEkc

Sorry for not being able to help you out other than this.

I know it isn't :-) That is why I sad the early game (basically till the end of Moon, more or less). After that of course the run has to be a lot different.

As I said, I did not watch the whole run yet so I have no idea how you handle the latter part of the it but I'm curious, honestly :-)

If I find it interesting I might even run it myself at some point :-)

Hi GZ.

I added the Bulbasaur to the leaderboard for Alt Mains so you can submit your run.

As a side note, if you pretend to improve your time (assuming you are crazy enough to go through all that again lol) I think that reading Pinkish guide for the Venusaur could help you save quite a lot of time on the early game (I didn't watch most of run yet but maybe the guide can also also give you some ideas for the latter part of it).

Nonetheless, gz on the run :-)

But do you get the right one as well or only that?

There was an A press that looked a bit too fast but not sure if that leads to that nido.

Btw, for clear the Nido appeared text box, it is better to do A+B when is time to clear it (basically, I'm saying to not mash since it makes harder to get the clear perfectly which would make the yolo ball to not work. General advise to that is trying to do it sonner each attempt till you are going too soon).

Improved WR now :-)

I'm done with it till someone beats my time tbh. The early game is just too brutal.

If someone interested in the running it, where are the notes I used:

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the A presses. They seems really fast which means you are likely to be missing the window. When you hit the npc stops for 2 frames. In a video it is hard to see that but you should be able to see in your screen.

The best advise I can give you is to start holding A when the npc starts moving into the right tile and only release it when he is on the way to the next one.

Every step is 17 frame (around 0.25s) so a little of pratice you should get it.

The stats you are looking for are 18hp 10/9/10/9. I know they look similar but 1/2/3 less dvs would generate those stats and then you get some weird results on fights such as not outspeeding Starmie or Alakazam (which generally means you just die).

Hi,

I realized my video was invalid since I didn't reset within 10min so went back about 10 to 20s to catch the last Reset.

Sorry for the mistake. I'm used to run Normal Red so that's not an issue since you reset for Nido.

The new link is the following:

Sorry for initial mistake.

Hi,

I would like to request that a new category was added to the Alt Main Pokemon for Red/Blue: Venusaur

I finished a glitchless run using only Bulbasaur line (except HM Slaves) with a time of 2:24:57. The link for the run is:

I think Pinkish already asked for it but I can't find it.

Thank you in advance
