Hey Guys,

I am not a speedrunner of this game but this is my favorite game of all time. My brother and I do nuzlocke drafts of characters in this game to make it fun and interesting. We set some rules and tiers for each character for both human and non human campaigns. We have a blast doing this so I wanted to share with everyone here. I am going to copy paste the notes below. RADIATA STORIES HUMAN SIDE DRAFT PLAY

RULES: -Run starts when Jack first gains access to the friends list. Save files starting here are fine. -Run ends upon defeat of the silver dragon. Postgame dungeon is optional.

• Weapon choice is random.
• Must complete human side of the campaign
• Only can use drafted characters in party (unless you need someone specific that requires someone in the party. Then the undrafted character must be removed.) -Characters that die in battle are dead forever and must be removed immediately. -Party must consist of no more than one character from each respective guild. Royal Knights count as Vancoor members. -Resurrection items are banned in battle. All other items are permitted. -Only one god tier character per party. -Banned characters cannot be used. -No fighting/healing capability characters can be used by anyone. -Non-human characters are banned. -Strong from start is banned. -Rocky is considered an olacion order character. -Cecil/Aiden are considered one character to recruit. If this character is drafted, that person loses one draft pick in same tier since it is a 2 for 1.

DRAFT TOOL: https://pickerwheel.com/ -Copy paste each tier into "inputs" one at a time. Each player takes turns spinning the wheel to draft a character at random. Once the character is drafted, remove it from the pool. -Repeat for each tier, once all characters are drafted. Those are the only characters a player can use.

Separating a category because you got shadowed is silly. Thinking about part of the community but shaming those who make a speed run faster is counter productive. If you separate this category you're making those who got lucky drops to justify their time supersede those who put hard work into turn a game into a better speed game. It makes zero sense in the speedrunning community. If a separate category is created, all times should remain under Any% No CD, and a blank leaderboard should be created for those who don't wish to learn new strats. It's as simple as that.

I think that any% no cd by definition has not changed at all. The game is beaten by the fastest means possible without card duplication. New routes, glitches, manips are found every day for all other games and categories do not split (excluding glitchless, etc.). RNG manip does not change hardware or software within the game, therefore I say learn the manipulation to now have a competitive time on the any% no cd leaderboard.

So the world record run can use re-use the same deck over and over, but we are not allowed to do this now that is has been pointed out? That's pretty fraudulent. If anything it makes Matt look bad lol.

Here's the way I take that (with a strange but useful analogy.):

A man steals a car from a dealer that has a few dents. The police then tell the dealer that they have more valuable cars to sell so they will just let it slide. So by the dealer not having the best car stolen, everyone has to suffer a loss except the thief.

That makes no sense to me. No offense to matt or anybody, but that just doesn't seem fair from a standpoint of someone who is told I cannot do something that someone did to secure the best time in the world.
