So I've been awake for 17 hours at this point. I awoke at 3:30 AM to my wife's stepdad (basically blind and traumatic brain injury from a car accident) fumbling around in the shed on our back porch after getting lost trying to find his way back inside. After that I couldn't go back to sleep and I've been busy all day with traveling family members. I just want booze and a bed.

Not all games are faster on Japanese. I'm pretty sure Superstar Saga is faster on English.

You can speed run anything you want :). I would just be prepared to adapt whenever the full game is released.
I think it would be interesting to see a category that requires you to collect all of the statues, cards, and peppers, but only enough gems to enter each level. Any thoughts? I might try to record a rough run at some point soon, just so we can see what it would look like.
