@JustLeeBelmont Sorry man, I was very inactive recently due university and work lol End of year is a mess for me since I'm not able to stay at PC for any more than 2 hours a day. Btw forgot to answer ya on discord, if you're willing to mod I don't mind.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned as example. Still, SotN (x360) is installed on HDD anyway, and is like 80mb. Hardly will be any faster than console because that. But only the future may tell us I guess, since even game cartridge-based sometimes are faster on emulator, or even official "emulators", like Super Game Boy Color for SNES or WiiVC.

Regarding the lag... The frames count is based on the video, and not on the game fps. With that is possible to differentiate even if the game has lag, making it fair to emulator and console players (Obviously has to record on same video configurations). With that we'll know how much time the console loses against the emulator, and we could increase 2~5 seconds of difference in emulator to console because depending the console revision is possible to read slower or other thing that can lag or be slower that didn't test in the frame counting. I don't think anyone will to do a frame count in Maria category tho, since isn't much popular. Usually people do that for more competitive categories.

Discussing further about that, should be even possible merging psx and xbox categories for example, but would be a pain to test because there is a lot of ps2 revisions and emulators to test.... isn't a good idea since would take forever for that and xbox version has some glitches that the ps2 version doesn't have.

A good example for frame count also would be the Xenia (xbox360) emulator. In a near future I think we'll have this same issue i guess (if the emulator will be faster than console). Frame count for Xenia emulator would be a good idea imo (if faster than console), making the community more competitive. Other things we would need to considerate anyway like IGT. if the xenia IGT is faster than console would have to be separated from console. That's just speculation tho, let's wait until that i guess.

Still on-hold the leaderboards in speedrun.com due some lack of communication/will trough the community.

-Normal Categories are the principal runs from the game. -Misc Categories will be for unpopular categories but that still have some flux. -New categories can be added as the community have a consent. -Any% & all bosses (Alucard and Richter) are not allowed with Saturn since is a completely different game, and no one runs on Saturn (at least for Alucard and Richter). -Maria (psp) and Maria (saturn) are two different categories because her moveset is completely different in Dracula Chronicles. -official Saturn console and emulator are in different categories due load times. Categories will be merged as long as we have a frame count for the category. -PSN version is allowed.

For now I'm traveling. I will be right back in 3 days or so, then I'll make some videos for clippable objects. One thing I was working out a lot also is full yolo dash in 4-2. Is quite easy the pattern. The only problem is the last sign before the pepsi gate. is easier doing hole clip before it and then dash jump as i did on the video. Has also another pattern where you can dash righ before clipping the boxes. I'll work on it better when i come back

My upload rate for live streaming is kinda bad, sorry for quality

I would like to request mod for Ecco The Dolphin and Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

There is only 1 mod in ecco. Looks like He's not active anymore on twitch. (A plus, I've waited for 6 months already to HalfBaked accept my Ecco run). I have good knowledge with in Ecco, and shouldn't be a problem for me since i enter quite often in this site. (I still run it also)

About SotN...

Seeing the leaderboard looks like the mod has no knowledge in the game. All plataforms are mixed, and he didn't add PSN version wich differs from psx version (yeah, i know psn version is a psx port, but is much slower). Sega Saturn is a completely different game also, shouldn't be mixed with psx/xbox versions. Has only any% which Isn't even popular anymore. There are tons of categories in SotN, which people runs mostly nowadays: all bosses, richter any% and richter all bosses. I'm willing to sync with CVSpeedruns and separating the leaderboards properly to make it better to submit also.

As plus, the mod also has no activity of running the game nor submiting his/her own pb. I still run SotN and I'm acquainted with fair amount of active runners in SotN also. (e.g. mouse, talic, xeiz, turbodog etc...)

Recently I've been discovering ton of things in Pepsi, man... By playing with pepsi, man (bad pun ikr) But being serious. Let's start.

Can'less stages: 1-1, 1-2,2-2 and 3-1[3-1 stage is thanks to RothRaka]

Clip'able objects: 2-1 (first truck which throws trash cans) 3-1 (yellow truck in the start, and logs) 4-1(some trucks you can pass by forcing to the sides) 4-2 (the 2 boxes after the first hole of the stage) [Thanks to Baldo]

Fail jump glitch (the jump just doesn't work. Still unknown reasons)

"dash stop" Skip(jumping right while dashing and dash when hitting the ground)

Hole Clip (dashing in the right time and deppending the hole size you can pass trough it)

I'll try writing about strats after. Is anyone also doing that? or just me? Because if so should be better putting everything together before I do anything (videos and etctera). I'm just feeling like doing/making advanced strats, not a walktrough for the entire game. Appreciated

PC is more similar to SNES/Wii. PSX version has some extras and differs a little for endings, like not letting Anne die, which we use her on S ending for snes. And ah PC version the snes glitches doesn't work. like for example, you cant pass trough the scissor man, when you you're doing any action like stairs. Inventory is like on PSX it freezes, then no floor clip or text skip. I didn't test the dog skip tho.

I never had issues with snes9x 1.51. but yeah deppending the emulator tends to be kinda bad. Sometimes you can make even glitches that you can't reproduce in original console... A bad example would be zsnes emulator.

About the PC: -Mechanics are kinda cranky and differ from SNES version. Input reader of the game is kinda ehhh -To start the game is faster, but takes more time to load other rooms. Overall snes is faster.

And yeah WiiVC has no difference is neither slower nor faster. Only issues are with VC's like n64 and PCE.

there is almost no runners for this game. shouldn't be better? For a 20 minutes game, shouldn't have much impact. (probably around 1 second deppending the emulator) same for WiiVC
