Hello! I recently started running this and was wondering if there was a difference between the JP and US versions? I tried to check myself but the copy of Hiryuu no Ken is just a copy of the English version.

I always locally record my runs and upload them to YouTube unlisted. In comes in handy with DT as they have never been muted that way.

Thanks and yeah I've been there. The first board I was a mod of my own rules invalidated my own run lol.

Hi! I recently picked up this game for an upcoming event and was wondering about the final hit end timing. Start time is easy enough to see because you start blinking and can control the character, but the last hit on the boss is difficult to tell. Is it when you use the last attack (usually a bomb) to kill the boss or when the last arm/shield thing starts blowing up?

I think the idea was to be able to just load a save state and press START rather than waiting, so really nothing would change but I really don't have a preference. You gotta wait in Chip n Dale, sometimes it's annoying but sometimes it gives you a little time to snack, drink, stretch, or just calm down and reboot.

Yeah I deleted the run and currently have a new 4:10.516 with Mesen that I'l be submitting later today. As soon as I switched emulators I could FEEL more lag, there was definitely a noticeable difference.

I agree, when we first started frame counting on SDB I kept messing it up and each time was like "okay now I figured it out" just for Marth or Zarc to re-time it lol. A quick double check isn't that hard, especially with the https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/ that MarthSR put in the SDB threads.

I was just wondering, what frames we should use when timing the runs. I have been using the first frame I see Randy move (whoever is in front) and the frame where all the PEZ is gone. I know the mods will re-time it but I keep getting it wrong and it's annoying me lol.

yeah I kinda answered my own question when I re-read the rules and the Reset line. also, sorry about messing up all my level submissions, I just recently learned how to do the frame counting and I messed it all up

so I saw the boards go up and got excited to fill em up lol, I only used my last 2 PB's but it did include several of my golds. I was just thinking afterwards tho, do you have to manually verify each of these MarthSR? If so, would it be easier for you if we cut the video down so it doesn't include the entire run and just the stage we're submitting for? I imagine it could be a lot of work if that's the case.

I think that would be fun!, we can even use the accumulated data to see what "The perfect run" would look like. lol
