Basque Countrya quick regard on the runs on the leaderboard, why does this minigame run so slow and at such different speeds for some runners?
I have no idea about this, but, while the 3rd place seems to run on accurate speed, WR advances like 6 IGT seconds each 10 RTA seconds, and 2nd place about 7 per 10
And I was wondering if there should be some change on the lb about this because it clearly makes a huge difference on the gameplay
the run previous to the competition starts the timer on starting new game, while currently runs are being timed from the first input
If anyone somehow reads this, i realised that some of the troll moving blocks can be missing
First, I was playing on this web: https://www.unfair-mario.com/ One of the first ones that pops up searching, and it has both a moving troll block in level 1 and a moving troll block in level 2
However, watching to the WR play ( https://www.speedrun.com/httpplayunfairmario.net/run/zp4jd4vz ), I realised that, while he has the block in level 1, the block in level 2 just doesn't exist in his run, for some reason
After that, looking at this forum, I got into this web: https://www.numuki.com/game/unfair-mario/ And, to my suprisse, this version does NOT have the block in level 1, which was in both the previous versions; however, it DOES have the block in level 2
Im wondering which comes to be the specifications on this topic, because the block of level 2 is the most annoying one and the one that would be cool to remove if possible, making any other run nowadays slower unless we get what version was the WR playing at; rn it just seems like i can't avoid losing that time over the WR, but I might find another version that changes that

Well, this a topic that is going on in mods team rn as it is a very common case This doesnt necesarily mean a rejection for now, but be aware that cases like this can easily leave to one if the legitimacy of the run isnt very clear To anyone reading this, we dont recommend manipulating the game in order to achieve illegaly said items

didnt tried the game at all lol but just realiced by random there is a skin that costs exactly 500 clicks, another one 1000, and another one 5000 well then, there are categories for getting to 500, to 1000, and to 5000, the exact point where you can buy some skin so, indeed, those 3 misc each one is a literal copy of one of the variants of the skin% category except for the last buy which isnt realy a lot tbh

not detailed spoilers, but in the main part, we have 2 extra levels for some of the sports in the island, and 2 new trophies to unlock in more missions (now 24 in total), with some adds on new NPC´s and fixed details around the game to look at; and maybe you wanna try to get around the boat in some moment too
im not sure if this is at 100% the correct place to ask about this, so sorry, but i have a dileme with the livesplit and want to see if anybody can help the "split incrementer" is a component that you can download and which objective is that, for every time you split, the name change and let you know the number of times you pass a level for example, tecnicaly, if you write "1-1 [0]" in a split, then when i split the name should chanfe to "1-1 [1]", the next time "1-1 [2]", and continue well, i just download one i got shared and add in the "components" folder, but it just doesnt work at nothing, doesnt exist i also try putting just in the livesplit folder with the rest of the components that for some reason are also there, but doesnt work https://imgur.com/U5ZUwSq https://imgur.com/fkZ2anx maybe is not an updated version or i have to do something diferent that im forgeting about, idk also if somebod can share a newer version he know it works for 1.8.15 of livesplit (whic i have rn) so i can prove then and if anybody know if i have to configurate something for it thanks
so, i dont thought about this until i got this run to verificate: you can easily see how the game goes realy slow in a constant way i dont even think this was completly at propose, and im sorry, but i just realice how this makes the games a lot lot easier even if is slower time, and even if is this slowed down the level time on screen that we use to verificate doesnt change this rule doesnt mean every run will be strict and be banned by any lag frame or something, but this is something to consider especialy for IL´s thanks

https://imgur.com/ScOZitj https://imgur.com/LbLWE4q this is new, i have not seen this before in other where apart of the snow, now when im playing sometimes this appear in the screen, like an special gift of the game, and if you click it it gives you a very lot of cookies there is nothing about it in the rules, but this would be unfair and would make playing in holliday´s being better than in any other moment of the year, so i understand could be banned anyways, a problem is that for example here he literaly pass cross the cookie, so i accidentaly hit it; then the run would be not allowed because of that mistake i would not spect this seems like a very huge problem at least while i dont know how to change to this doesnt happend so what about this? idk with this, there is any way to change to a past version without the holliday´s or something? thanks
So, i though about this before, my PC is slow and "probably have slower loads", but anyways i go to run it for fun, and i got a 10:30;5 but, okey, is a lot but A LOT worst than i spected at the start i dont know i i do something bad, but i wonder about the diference, so i just cut every black and load screen in my run and in the world record; i dont think i have been to exact to do it, and i do it at 30 fps, and also was hard to cut the exacts frames because of the recording of the WR lol (im not criticating it betwen i also dont have a capture card), but just for give me an idea well, just do the maths: i got an IGT of 8:55;1666... in the WR run, and a 9:06 in my 10:30;5 run doing diferences, there is a 1:03;7333... time of load i cut from the WR, and doing the exact same stuff, a 1:24;5 time of load i cut from my run this means that i had no more and no less than 20,7666... seconds more of loads than the WR basicaly, if i had the same loads than the world record, my time would be a 10:09;7333... , with a top 3 in the leaderboard i guess the problem here is clear, rigth? well, i think it could be realy usefull having the IGT activated to see the true times when there is this diference betwen users maybe is a lot of work for mods, and i imagine this is normaly not done in litle games/hack roms with just 11 runs (8 any% + 3 100%) like this lol, but i just let here my explanation of being literaly imposible for my PC even with a TAS to get a top time because of the loads, so precisely the TAS could get to top 4 [rigth now 10:18]

i just show in this video so, here is the thing i accidentaly click on 2 levels, and realice about this: if the screen is not fully loaded, clicking a level again make the load restarting again, and you can spend all the time you want clicking a level without enter it lol, until you stop and you enter the last level you click so, i proving this, i just prove in a locked level specting nothing was going to happend, even without another load, i just entered to 1-7 having only unlocked until 1-4 and it works with any level so, you can play and beat any level you want without even having passed the level 1 of this world wowowow, so just skip the rest of the levels and beat x-12(/5/9) in each world!? well, unfortunately, i also discover with this that the next world doesnt unlock just for beating the last level you can get to level 12 in any moment, but the world will probably only unlock if you beat all of the levels so, by the moment, seems pretty usless at speedrunning, at least in this moment but is a curious glitch, so if anybody read this and maybe save 2 minutes to get a level he want xd maybe in the future is usefull for something

I remember this from other games, and just want to aseguarte to know it yeah And I doenst found nothing about it in the rules Is allowed to use emulators? Have to say the way to aim is extremely diferent in an emulator in comparation to the original of the Wii normaly, so that make that no xd In all case, some categories doesnt need it, so there is it No obstant, maybe realy easy to cheat or faster without anybody realice about it or diferent charge blacks screen / transitions or things like that
