Fully agree on moving over 99.9 NG+, it's a 3DS only category which was done because of the whole StreetPass thing so I think it's worth putting on CE. Also agree on Plat Trophy RTA being a main category so will move that too!
Yeah looking back at what I wrote, I feel that Super Mods are a good idea, as per the example of the Zelda community. Perhaps having one Super Mod per game and then sufficient mods to support them. As for Series Mods if you were to say 2, then maybe have it for one being over the console games and one over the handhelds as so to have diversity among the moderation. I agree on your idea that super mods count appoint verifiers for help i necessary.

Hi, releasing this to the public in here now. This is a suggestion I put forward towards the mods for how to move forward. Any opinions and suggestions would be great. I believe that other methods are being looked at but ofc would love to hear feedback so we can gauge the community's feeling on this.
Just want to say that I agree with the overall conclusion that gamebrain posted. The communication and transparency is something we appear to agree on that is of concern, so that is something imo that we should prioritise dealing with.
As for a minor update, just wanted to say that neraigo has quit as a lb mod so with crispy and neraigo leaving, kh2 will need to be addressed.
Anyway, I'll be posting my thoughts and potential suggestions tomorrow morning.
Hi, just wanted to mention here after I had in the discord. The mod team are looking at the stuff that Desa posted today and having discussions about it and how to move forward. As Paopu said, feel free to discuss and state your thoughts so we can have a greater understanding of the views of the community.

Yeah it's basically what Timmi put. The games have been grouped together to take up one page but the versions remain seperated and will always remain so. I do understand where you are coming from with the cover art as it kinda implies straight away that this is just 3DS version. Perhaps it could be replaced with something universal that just shows the art work (e.g. 
, quickly found that on google).
I do also disagree on the merge and feel games that have technical differences should be seperated. I believe the reason for the merger was similar to that of other games such as KH1 where it was to remove duplicates of games, with the exception being BBS where there was different difficulties and categories across the versions, prompting it not worthwhile to merge. If you have any thoughts / suggestions for improving the board then I'd be happy to hear and discuss it with the community.

Emulator runs are absolutely allowed for these games, just be sure to make sure that it fits the parameters set up within the rules in the pastebin!
I think this will benefit both mods and the community, giving direct areas of which to engage and submit runs. Categories that go on main board / CE is up to the mods in question for the respective game but ask them if you have queries etc. I hope that this split will help to resolve the issues that both the mods and community had with the previous set up of the board.

So we are looking into adapting the Category Extension boards to best suit this community so that it benefits us all! The current leaderboard for it exists at the moment as a basic template from which we will build on. Feedback on the structure of the boards and how you see the leaderboards working, such as what kind of categories you think suit the title of being an extension category. Feedback on this would be appreciated, hopefully constructive comments 👌 .

Additionally the other day saw Neraigo post on the 2FMHD forum regarding Lvl 1 Gold Crown and the indefinite removal of Lvl 1 Silver Crown. Since this post went up, there has been some people disappointed about the removal, reasoning is included in the post stated. If there is serious interest of people actually doing runs then it may well be re-added (perhaps in the CE boards, this is very far from being determined ofc) as this isn't a permanent removal as some, myself included, have misinterpreted. Feedback on this topic would be appreciated (as well as signs of genuine interest) as well as on things regarding the categories involving the crowns and Lvl 1.

Gonna voice my opinions on this: If this were to be done RTA with "either" a completed file or a new file would bring inconsistencies, so I feel it would be best to go with IGT, which promotes competition and eliminates the difference that PC would make in such a short category and also promoting the idea of playing optimally to get the best time you possibly can.
For Normal/Hard, it doesn't seem to be any major differences so I also believe that both should be allowed. Even if it ends up that normal is faster for a reason such as using invincibility frames to get through certain obstacles faster, having both options would give runners more choice and not force them to play on X difficulty unless they want to be competitive.
Edit: Also, as for showing times with splits, I feel it is not necessary to show splits since the total time is only adding up 3 IL times together which is relatively easy to check. However, if people want to show splits then it is okay too i feel.
Just my kinda rambling thoughts, interested in what others think.
Having read the pastebin in the opening post, I do very much agree with Timmi's views on that change is needed. I feel that the speedrunning community should have 2 mods per section of the series. For example, looking at the PS2 era we could have a dedicated mod and a back up mod, similar to what Draz and Timmi made points about. Additionally I feel that there should be one global mod for the entire KH LB to help communicate through with the others, maybe not be one who verifies runs but helps identify issues since the major issue it feels to be is a lack of communication.
The areas I could (potentially) see splits for mod sections would be: PS2 Classic PS3 and PS4 Remixes Handheld 0.2 and III (perhaps in preparation for the future since it may be likely to see these get significant runs for just 2 games)
As for myself as a LB mod, I feel i'm extremely inactive on this site and am not really around much atm for personal reasons, so I'd be a bad choice, but if you want me to in the future when I'm more active, I could help Draz out and keep up to date on handheld stuff.

I do agree with the idea that missing gameplay is sufficient reason to reject a run from the leaderboards, after all the gameplay is what is attempted to be uploaded here. I also agree that one single small skip isn't worth rejecting a run for as it could be something simple as capture card issues or computer issues possibly.
While this may seem like a dumb idea, is it possible that if a person is restreaming a run that was previously recorded off the ps4 directly and notices that there is a skip in their video, then could they make sure they mention it when uploading their time to the leaderboard? This could be viable as the runner can do this whilst the run is restreaming, taking no further time out of their day and is also helpful for the leaderboard mods in terms of directly seeing whether or not a run can be deemed valid.
This probably could have been worded better, hope the general idea gets across.
