I recently found a new skip/timesave and didn't know where to post it so I created this page for people to post new skips and timesaves if they found any. this skip is more of a convenience though. so here's the skip: you know how holding X at the very start of the game on the Mr. Dark screen freezes it unless you let go Immediately after the screen appears? well I found that holding the start button will skip the Mr. Dark screen but not freeze the game. please note however you MUST use X on the start screen and not the start button otherwise it will not work. also note that the start button will not enter the level for you so you'll have to switch back to holding X. and to think no one had found this skip yet! weird... well it pays to try new things! anyway hope this helps some people get through the game a bit faster/easier!

I just don't know how to record on a tv and I don't want to waste money on useless software... as I said before I don't know what I am doing at all with technical stuff XD. Sorry if you're wasting your time answering stupid questions... it'll probably be quite awhile before I use any of this anyway I need to practice a lot more before submitting a run. and of course I need to get all this stuff as well(the stuff were talking about). Let me specify about the recording software question. You see, I'm not sure how to record on a tv, I guess you use a capture card to get footage or something... but like I said, I don't know what I'm doing... anyway I guess the question was about what you even use to record on speedruns AND some recommended software. specifically what would be good for speedrunning. I am definitely looking more towards price than quality. As long as it works and records stuff in one piece it's fine. Well that'd be about it(again sorry for wasting your time I'm just a complete noob, I feel that way at least :P).

just asking what system would you need to not lag and have max load speed? because my ps2 is a pretty old version so it seems to lag a bit and the load speed is slow. also do you need a specific version of the game as well? sorry for so many questions but i'm new at this(and not that old :)). can you recommend a recording system for speedruns? do you have to have a timer running in the recording? thanks in advance :) again sorry for so many questions but i'm a meganoob when it comes to technical stuff...
