MexicoHi, welcome to the Breath of the Wild Category Extensions Leaderboard! Here we will house all the interesting, yet not so interesting to be on the main board, categories you can think of.
When requesting a category, please provide the following:
- Name, explanation and rules of the category.
- The SRC username of each runners (eg. @Sigmaphied), along with the respective video of the run.
Each category must follow these guidelines:
- The category should involve interesting and unique routing, or have a significant goal within the game.
- The category should not be similar to existing categories.
- The category goals should not be reliant on heavy luck based requirements or goals.
- There must be at least 5 runs by five different runners with video proof each, for longer categories (6+ hours on average) only 3 runs are required.
- Exceptions to these rules are categories which have a distinct growth in popularity compared to others (eg. butter dog).
After one of our mods reviews your category, along with the runs, your category will be added if accepted.

When requesting a category, please provide the following:

- At least 3 runs by different runners, video proof required.
Please keep in mind that the category should be meaningful and should not be stupidly arbitrary (ie, 3 Korok Seeds, 1 Tower, 2 Divine Beasts RTA).
If the requirements are met your category most likely will be added to the leaderboard!
Wii U has more consistent loads in Any% while Switch are more erratic (specially overworld loads) but they overall beat Wii U by a bit. Switch is absolutely faster now for every category.
Yes, it's being heavily tested in the Discord. For Any% Switch has a slight lead in timings by about 5 seconds aprox. For the rest of the categories Switch is heavily in favor due Divine Beasts and Shrines having faster in and out loads.
Yes, text language does matter. In order to change it, you need to change your console's language from the system configuration.
Get two people to run it and we'll make the category for Extensions :)
