Another reason it's empty is because most of the best runners in this game are playing against the other best runners, investing many hours into one category that wont be left until one backs off :D. I may take you up on that challenge though, I'll start filling the board next week. Also saying there's too many categories when you've done 3 runs in 5 months is kinda lul

The timer will only run when you're in a stage unpaused

Do you use livesplit? There is an auto splitter that runs automatically when you use it + turn it on. We would rather you did the levels individually instead of having us work out the times for each of your stages. Most people stream + use twitch's highlight option to grab your run/stages. Obs recording is the other main way on pc

Tested a year ago, doesn't save time

Axel glitch to move forward with charge kick momentum by timing a back attack after landing charge attack. Adam will also back attack after landing a boot to trick the game into letting you do a 2nd boot faster (if you land a boot and try charge another without back attack it takes longer)

Hi Werzhil, probably not as no one else has shown any interest in this before. We had the same thing for one group of people for a 4 player run. If other groups show an interest then it would probably make sense to, but one random 3 man Russian team and one random 4 man Russian team isn't enough to warrant a new category imo. Then again, I don't personally mind either way :) Any thoughts on this everyone ?

Mrs Y has two wake up hops, a short and a long. It has to be a long hop into your star move to carry her momentum off the cliff. The star also needs to be right before the hp value that causes them to get into robot. When they are getting into the robot the side walls and background wall disappear.

In testing, facing your back to Mrs Y when she gets up = most likely to be long hop. Also you need to be high up on the stage for it to work but not too high up or she will always hop down and not up. This is not reliable in a run as the best opportunity to hit Mrs Y is right at the start of the fight where you get to hit both of them. The trouble with this is they are a few pixels too high at the start, so even if you did drop the combo early to allow her to hop, she will hop down anyway and it wouldn't work.

The only other option is to drop combo 1 and then hit her slightly lower in combo 2 and do it from there whilst Mr Y is shooting you. This is not something you would want to do as she could completely hop away from you after combo 1 and you may never get her in the right place after again.

There is also a possibility to do this to Mr Y. If you punch him and let him recover he always does a roll, again this can be up or down so positioning would matter. Hp near robot level + jab + upward roll >super = probably dead Mr Y.

Thanks to A1Major for the walls + air momentum theory, the rest was simple to work out in tests.

I'm happy with the way it is. I think keeping all difficulties is a good thing for the game. Over 700 runs done already, game isn't even 4 months old. Speedrunners don't need encouraging. This isn't fat camp telling people to stop eating yoghurt because of the extra calories. Less categories = the best runners destroy those categories even faster, actually would discourage other new runners in my opinion. Promoting 3lodz as the pinnacle of sor4? That's the funniest thing I've read in a while. Well as long as oxygen continues to exist, that's never happening. OOS #MIGHTYGANG

Hi I would like to be a mod please. I play this game every day, run multiple categories,host/raid other channels to help build those channels after every stream. I also privately help other runners of the game a lot. I want this game to do as well as it possibly can and I feel like I can help out Mike and Cestpatou being part of the team (the only two that seem to do anything on this board.) WOW. If picking up that money allowed you to pick up the star out of range but it didn't register (what it looks like) then this is HUGE. What a find !

Shiva messed up the diva special interrupt. He's going for back elbow which isn't as reliable as double jab. Should be the same time roughly as the others. Very cool video Hedgehog!
