Georgia, USAhello! ive been wanting to pick up KF ILs for a while, but theres one issue. i always tend to run into this whenever a game starts its timing on first input, but i have trouble pressing my split key with one hand, then immediately pulling my hand back to my controller without losing any time. i also tried just holding my controller and hovering my pinkie over the split key, but that also felt very unwieldy and i still ended up losing a bit of time. the last thing i tried was just doing my run, then retiming it afterwards, and while that works, its just a bit tedious to have to do that for every single attempt i do for a 9 second long IL, and im sure could get more annoying with the longer ones. what do you do to start your timer? i wanna know if theres a technique that im just not thinking of or something
as far as i can tell, i don't think theres any official/ingame leaderboards for the time trials, and as such i was wondering if the boards could be hosted here instead.
i feel like doing story mode could be ain interesting category, unless theres a reason it doesnt exist.

sam2 was recently remade in sam3's engine, from what i can gather, will there be a new category specifically for the new engine?

hey, your friendly neighborhood moderator here. would people be interested in guides by yours truly to help with running the game? sally face can be pretty convoluted , and sometimes its hard to remember what order you gotta do stuff, so i figured since its gotten fairly popular as a speedrun this may be something people want now. lemme know your opinyots on this idea.
so uh, what is this thing and how do i do it? i looked it up on youtube and there was nothing, and there isnt a guide on src for it, as far as i know
i think grouping the touch consoles (ds, 3ds and the controller consoles into the same subcategory seems a little strange, maybe there could be separate ones for ds and controller?
on a stream i did today i did a run of the normal mode, and i found it to be kinda weird that there wasnt already a category for it...considering its the main mode, and there is an ending. i was wondering if perhaps the moderator, @CaneofPacci , could add a category for normal mode, and make subcategories for the different difficulties.

uhm, so yeah, the current wr holder looks to be using an ssd to run the game. pretty much what an ssd does is it makes any program run from it run faster than normal. josef is walking significantly faster in @OmnipotentPotato 's run, and ive discussed this with both @BabyOxeley and @plankboii and ive been wanting to bring it up to moderators for a while. if theres any proof that what ive said is wrong then please tell me, but i think allowing a wr that runs faster than normal gameplay is supposed to is very unfair
why are the games in different levels? i think that itd be better if they were in full game categories instead
Thought I should link this right here for anyone who wants to join
it doesnt seem theres a way to get certain cages without getting certain powers. unfortunately, when going back to older levels using the world map cheat, it doesnt preserve your powers. the only remedy I can think of for this is using the all powers cheat. does anyone know any sort of solution to this?
ive scoured the internet for about 10 minutes now, and the only thing I can find is ninja senki dx. where do i get the original game???
