Knock on the door three times to start the run. Navigate the menu quickly and select to buy your dog. Choose the Labrador or the Golden Retriever, as these dogs perform the best first time around with no practice in competitions. Gender is neglegent.

Quickly call your dog to you with the whistle button, and pet the dog's head in quick circular motions. Try to have the dog move as little as possible to make this go faster. Once your dog is comfortable, have a predecided name your DS can pick up easily with one syllable. (I for example use "Duke".) Once the dog learns its name, use the whistle button again to avoid delay. Pet them once to stop any excitement and quickly repeat the name three times in rhythm. The dog will bark after each repetition.

Teach your dog to sit. Similar with the name, use a command which is short and easily understood. Once your dog can sit, call it's name and say the command to procede.

After this you will call your dog to you, stop any excitement, and touch and hold one of their paws. Stick to the left or right side, whichever you touched first. Teach the dog shake this way. Once they learn shake, tell the dog to sit and swipe down on its head to make it lie down. Teach it lie down in the same manner as shake and sit. Once these three tricks are learned, you can move on to the next phase.

Click on go out and go to the store in the top left corner. Scroll down a little and select either the red or blue disc. This is needed to participate in the disc competition. Next, back out and go for a walk. This is luck based, as sometimes the gym is too far to walk to and your run can end. However, if it is close enough, draw the path avoiding any question blocks. Tug to the right to make your dog run faster and don't stop for any bathroom breaks, presents, or trash. Once you arrive inside immediately leave, and run back. Visitting the gym allows you to participate in the Agility Trial. Now you can move on to the final phase.

Click on go out, and select competition. Choose Agility in the center to procede. Click past the banter between Ted and Archie as fast as you can. This is also based on luck, as since you didn't practice your dog has a high chance to make a mistake and accumulate deductions. Navigate your dog as best you can through the course, following the numbers and getting no more than 5 points deducted. If you achieve this fast enough, you should get gold in Agility.

When you return home, click on go out, then competition, and do the Disc Trial next. This next one is a game of chance like Agility since there was no training. Hold the disc and wait for your dog to run forward a little and wait for you to throw the disc. Throw it lightly, but not too lightly. If you're lucky, the dog will catch enough discs to win you gold in Disc.

When you return home, click on go out, then competition, and do the Obedience Trial next. Again being a game of chance, your dog may or may not hold certain tricks long enough. Speak quickly and clearly, and if all goes well you should recieve gold in Obedience. Wait until the "Returned Home" message goes away and stop the timer.
