Hello everyone! Just here to inform everyone about some new changes that have been made to the boards.

User and runner SpectralPlatypus has developed a new autosplitter/load remover for use for runs. For those paying attention beforehand, the old one was SourceSplit, which is used for almost every Source Engine game on the site. What's wrong with it to the point where we no longer use it for this game? To cut it short, with how SourceSplit is made, the timer actually slows down if you go into catnip bullet-time mode any point in the run, which is a major advantage. To put it blunt, there was no way for us to be able to continue using SourceSplit. Thankfully, Spectral was able to put together a new one that does the job just fine enough for us. The timing is only off by a few frames per load, but it's not ripe for abuse like the catnip bullet-time at least. Every run performed before 3/21/23 has been grandfathered in, which includes other rules as well like the usage of some console commands and needing audio. If you are interested in running the game now, do note that SourceSplit is no longer allowed. I have retimed every run that has used the catnip bullet-time mode, so that they are (hopefully) accurate to the current timing.

Lastly, Newest Patch runs are now the main subcategory. Sorry to the old patch (actually only v1.0 but we are not getting into this currently) fans. It is still faster but it has less runs.
