So they nerfed Oni bad in the 1.1 update. They took out the attack that was prominent in the 1st place run. I don't know if this has any effect on the way runs should be done or posted or anything like that but I thought I'd throw it out there so people knew.
Yeah that's something I noticed aswell. Im not sure what to do with the boards. I dont want to separate the boards with each patch. Ive been debating on deleting my own runs because I feel like separating on each patch makes the boards look bad and you know aint no one going through the trouble to downpatch a game to beat older categories. We are in a weird position because Oni was sooo strong.
Well personally I think separating by patch would be just fine! I would hate to see your runs deleted because it shows that you had mastered the game at that point in time. Other games have their patches separated and they honestly look ok. If people honestly wanted to go back and take the early patch boards then power to them; otherwise it's nice to see the history of how the game was run and what not. I know this is kinda a small game and community that people don't know about, but I think some people could show up seemingly out of nowhere like I did and have a good time with everything. So if it's not too much to ask, please keep up your runs and just seperate the patch! It makes me happy to see people still kinda care about this game. Ultimately the decision is up to you and I'm glad I'll be able to contribute either way!
Okay Im trying to look for what each version is and I have no idea what version number the current game is in. Also once you buy the DLC ALL 3 of the new characters are added to all the modes so more fights. So I guess we can have one Category as 1.0.5, then 1.1.0, then whatever the new version is, then Rise of the Dragons.
Well the newest version is 1.1 which is when they add the dlc. If anything all there would be to add is 1.1, and 1.1 with DLC. Otherwise 1.0 and 1.0.5 are the same
Oni was added in 1.0, thats why they need to be separated. I figured it all out. It just weird because you cant toggle the DLC characters On or Off.
