My best recommendation is to learn the main quest category, it doesnt need to be good, or even speedrunned, but just learn how other runs work, what the ideas behind all the implementations are and what glitches you can use for your run. As if you just start to route without knowing all the available resources it would be kinda hard and slow. After that, you would want to actually start to see what else you need to achieve your run and then just find the fastest way to get it.

If you have a speedrun you believe is interesting and a must have for the community, the best way to include it is to try and actually run it, see how it looks and all. It is hard for us in this game to include even more categories as we have like 80000, so if you finish a run and it seems like it would be a very competitive, innovative and interesting one. Then please show it to us in the discord!

Hello, I am wondering how big is the time loss between these two versions? I want to start speedrunning this game and i just got a gameboy player, so i am ready to go, but I really would enjoy not having to buy a new game. Thanks

make sure to set autosplits, then the splits will stop automatically even if your game does not respond, it happens to me a lot, it just doesnt count it. :D

OKAY so it just doesnt work on f1 for some reason, any ideas why, i kind of like it that way, but i can just put it on f2 and f3

So yeah, I am still practicing the skyrim speedrun, but in my new computer after i set everything up i couldnt quicksave on sprint, i could quickload but not save. Any help is welcomed

OK, after trials, Running did solve the problem of crashing, and the window stopped blinking transparent when I deactivated the show desktop function in the tools bar

Running looks like is working to make the glitch stop, Ill guess i will do that from now on, thanks for the help everyone. Also the window thing can be fixed if I Shift Tab to reset my mouse to the left, it is something weird.

I will try all of them thanks :D it is my only way to play flawlessly for a run, this computer is horrible, when I come back home I will have a better computer. It has never crash on me without the autosplitter. And the window problem is also really annoying, if anyone knows how to deal with that :S

Okay so I started speedrunning nothing ago, and after I learned the run and got one (bad) speedrun done, I wanted to try to get a better time and submit it. But when I am using auto splitter after the first helgen split my game crashes: I do not know why does this happen. There is also another problem I have, when I am recording the game in Obs with the window type of recording of the game (I play windowed mode for less lag and splitter) My game sometimes kind of blanks out, as if I was trying to get into another program, in the middle of helgen. I think it is because my mouse gets to the tool bar while im playing, how do I fix this? Thanks
