I did not know for the cheat code list. What is the code ? About the LARGE mode, I only see something more annoying because more difficult. But if we were a ton of players one day, why not. There is nothting funnier in the list of cheat ?
Thanks for sharing this, very interesting to see this confirmed here. I think that many of us had unconsciously noticed its Sho-Ryu-Ken when passing behind, but now it is confirmed with this video. What I used to do when he is stuck on ground and if I am on a pressure position on him, I try a combo "punch then multi punch", he takes everything or at least the last punch of the serie.
EDIT : when I was writing my comment I had forgotten that it is in HARD in the video.
WHAT THE F !!! :D 5 days ago you were unable to do super moves and now you just destroyed me by more than a minute !!
In less than 2 days, I just got it in 12:08 ;) I will put some animation in this leaderboard
Thanks to your advice, I have reduced my time quickly from 13:25 to 12:08
And one more question....WHY don't you speedrun also the 2nd game ? I saw you are dominating the leaderboard of the 1st game.
Thank you ! So instead of doing a sliding continuous movement with my thumb, from down to forward, I should take my time and just press separately down and then forward ?
I don't think anyone will see this soon but at least, if there are some new info it should be usefull for anyone who want to run this game. I had noticed this already back on the Game Gear, the quarter circles forward are definitely somehow different than SFII and other fighting games. I may be wrong but it seems that the correct inputs are : "down - forward", without passing by the diagonal.
Sometimes I perform my quarter circles quite well, at a rate of 70-80%, and other times I fail maybe 5 times in a row to just make one. I don't get it here. This is the main reason why I am still around 14min today.
Can we have more precision here ? for example, should I press my button exactely in the same time as the forward input or shall I do it just slightly after ?
On the following link you can find a complete tutorial well structured which will help you to start speerunning this game.
Unfortunately this is now in french, but I hope soon that we could find a place to host a complete translation in english.
Concerning Livesplits :
Everybody have a Livesplit layout with every bosses, I have only my run split in 5 parts. we hit a key manualy, it is up to your preference to check your boss kill when you want, we use to do this exactly when the message of the obtained orb appears. But this doesn't matter actually, what matters is the exact moment of the start, and the exact moment of the ending. You can find these ruls on the leaderboard Start : when you press button to confirm Randi's name End : when the screen finished to fade to black after Mana Beast dies. I can tell you by experience that moderators measure this very accurately. I had reported 2:29:59.76, the official time was confirmed by them at 2:30:00.37
Hi ! I am french so I am not sure if I get 100% of your request, but what you are searching might be the tuto fo Crow :
I think this can help : so far I have reduced from "1-2 craches" to "0-1 crashes" per ~3 hours run by restarting my computer just before starting a new run. I don't certify this really works, but it seems to.
