Hi everyone! Another quick update for the leaderboards, this time for the start timing in full game runs. Since creating the boards it's become clear that the current start timing of the 'let's go!' menu press is very difficult to retime compared to the IL method of the first frame of the ball moving.

For this reason, all categories will now start from the first frame of the ball moving and end on the first frame the ball disappears. I aim to retime all runs that are affected by this in the coming week.

The final update for now is to reorganise the main categories currently known as Any%, All Levels, and Extra Levels. These will only be name changes, however the subcategory split for NG and Existing Save will become a variable in the relevant categories.

Hi Brickdown players! Today there have been a few changes to the leaderboard, most notably individual levels (ILs) which are detailed here.

Each level now has its own page and is simply to beat the level - in other words, the Medal/No Medal variable no longer applies to ILs. This is because the game is already very fragmented in ILs due to having 136 of them, and lots of the medal requirements would already be collected in most optimised IL runs. The medal variables will stay for full game runs.

Individual Worlds have been moved to full game to clean up the boards, with the categories renamed to First 10 (originally Any%), Extra 5 (originally Extra Levels), and All 15 (originally All Levels).

Finally, the requirement in full game runs to end with the boss which applied to some categories has now been removed.

Today the leaderboards will not be viewable as I am making these changes, but once these are done I will move the runs over to the new categories.

Hi there, wanted to document this even though currently there are no other players right now. If anyone out there is thinking of running the game I’d be happy to help with any questions, would love to see this game get more traction!

I originally made the video proof thresholds as placeholders but realise they were a bit inaccurate to where I feel they should be. I imagine these will change again once more strats are found for long levels. Here are the new timings:

Any% NG - 2:15:00 (from 2:40:00) NG All Medals - 3:30:00 (from 4:00:00) Existing Save - 2:00:00 (from 2:10:00)

All Levels NG - 3:00:00 (from 3:20:00) NG All Medals - 4:20:00 (from 5:00:00) Existing Save - 2:40:00 (from 2:50:00)

Extra Levels - 0:35:00 (from 0:40:00) All Bosses - staying at 0:18:00 Shuffle - 0:05:00 (from 0:07:00)
