Anyone else having this problem? When I am logged in, the site is extremely slow. On phone and on different computers. It takes around 5 - 7 seconds to load a page, doesn't matter what page.
When I log out, the site is suddenly fast. The loadings are less than 1 second. Anyone else having the same issue? I am going to tweak my settings to see if that resolves anything. (already tried adblock and different browsers but it is only slow when logged in, the issue is solved when logged out). This has been an issue for a few weeks now and thought the overall site was just slow.
Edit: Removed my theme, disabled private messages, cleared all cookies but nothing works till now.

I am doing attempts and I am fairly consistent in doing world 1. But I would like to start with world 2 as I struggle the most with those levels. Is this allowed for Any%? Or do you need to complete them from 1-1 to 3-3 in order?
^ curious about it. Not really 'genre' but what interests you the most in games that you will pick up to speedrun. Or do you have a favorite genre in general?
I actually love to speedrun games without enemies the most. Especially Refunct, but also Harvest Moon, Speedrun 4 and a few browser games where I focus on movement and less about the enemies/battle.

I am pretty new to this game. The 100% category says you need to ride the rollercoaster + wearing a hat, but I am not sure how to achieve this. Never encountered this in my gameplay before. If someone could explain this to me, thanks in advance!
The current rules state the timer stops when you go through the door after talking to Bo. But after this, the celebration starts and you still have to button mash through it. That's why I am reconsidering this rule and changing it to: 'Stop the timer when the credits start rolling'. This means the current runs should be re-timed to match the new rule.
I won't change it right away, I am posting this here to allow anyone to state their opinion or give their thoughts about this rule change.
All runs which needed to be retimed, are retimed by @lagloyavich. If you have any concerns, feel free to DM @Lagloyavich or me about it.
There is also a global SCP Speedrunning server, feel free to join and discuss it here or leave a comment below this post.
IGT runs are currently accepted to the leaderboard, because the game is pretty long and there isn't a route yet. Please note that IGT runs might be moved to a misc category on a later date.
Hi hello!
I never introduced myself on speedrun.com but I think this is the right moment to do so! As you may have noticed, I am a new Full Mod here and really excited to strengthen the team and to help out.
I joined SRC back in 2015, almost 4 years ago, with my first speedrun of Harvest Moon SNES. I got into speedrunning when watching CosmoWright and his OOT Any% runs. I was really fascinated about the wrong warps and other various glitches. The thing I love the most about speedrunning is to beat various games as fast as I can. I hop to new games a lot, because I love to learn new strats and to dive into new games.
And till this day I am still feeding my dogs in Nintendogs. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them!
I changed the SCP containment breach speedrun server to a global SCP speedrun server! Enjoy :)
Currently emulators and USB loaders are accepted for every category.
Keep in mind that it might be possible console and emulator will be splitted in the future.But for now they go onto the same leaderboard.
Reason? Because Dokapon is an expensive and rare game to get your hands on. I want to make this game available for everyone!
Please state in the description if you used an emulator.

This is NOT me. Too bad I can't do anything about this. If you see a pop-up of me, and the Discord tag isn't: Seydie#9567 it is fake.

For RNG we rolled this game to be this weeks game to run. But we have a question.
We noticed the GBA and DS version doesn't have the yellow color on RunRun hard mode. How does this work?

I was wondering if there was any need for this. But most games do not have the content or 'knowledge' about performance of a certain game. For example, you found a glitch but you are not sure if it is possible to do this glitch on a remake, on the PAL version or on the newest patch. Or you are not sure about certain loading times when trying to verify a run. But you can not compare it to another PAL/NTSC/NTSC-J run footage.
Most likely because they do not have a lot of runners or do not have the game/console to test it. Wouldn't it be nice to have a little group or leave a comment somewhere so you can request certain footage?
Like: Hey! Could you try to perform this clip on a PAL version, Gamecube console
Or: Could you load up this game on a PS2 7000 and a PS2 9000?
I was wondering because I have the equipment to capture console + DS footage, but I didn't join every community there is to see they need any footage. Would love to do some content if I own the game. Just an idea I am throwing here, opinions are appreciated ofcourse!
