So I want to learn the run, currently watching Boarum's run to do it, but I thought I'll ask if you can tell me what build to do(what skills and stats to level and in what order) and what to look for on gear? Also glitches in a run, how to perform them?

I'm not running RE7 nor intend to, but one thing interests me. Has anyone checked if different language versions are faster than other and if so by how much? I mean, many times during a run you just wait for characters to stop talking, so I wouldn't be surprised if some dubs save time there on being faster to say

Little update on my availability Any day, but run(if gets in) has to start sometime from 4pm to 8pm CET(so from 10am to 2 pm EST)

IIRC if you open menu mid-step, you won't get encounter on this step. You could do this repeatedly to avoid all the encounters. I'm unsure if to count this as glitch(and thus ban it in glitchless) However I think it definitely should be banned for North Bridge% as it would make run straight out dumb(as there is no mandatory fights in the run)

Sounds good, altho instead "All bosses must be defeated" I'd suggest "All dungeons must be completed", so you would have to do sunken ship from start to finish instead using boss warp after credits

I'm gonna agree, it's good idea I would also suggest maybe changing NMG name to NMS(No Major Skips), since I wouldn't really consider Captain Dragon skip a glitch and quitout especially. Fishfly is a glitch, but it's not used as much in run(and also results in skip)

As for NG run, I know that after Champion Cup there's one more license, but I never was able to pass it. What do you unlock after that? Anything that should be considered part of a run?

I'm going to withdraw my Virtual Hydlide run, decided to not go to event, sorry...

Ok, I updated my Virtual Hydlide submission, replacing placeholder all dungeons random seed run with actual any% set seed run. Estimate might go down a bit in future. Also, only right seed for this event I figured was ESA (if you could use numbers it would've been ESA17) and it's surprisingly good seed for this run

That's why I didn't suggest all missions all levels, but marathon is in April, so I guess we could learn that before that, one level each runner. Problem with that is All mission is kinda hard, so it might end up being not so good idea for marathon As for Wang Cars - it's a meme category and speedruns ultimately boil down to memes. Plus I expect meme categories of other games

So, what could we submit GTA2 related for the event?

My idea was to do 3-way race(me, Tez, Word) of any% or Wang cars or both plus downtown all mission solo run(done either by Tez or Word, possibly me if I learn it before marathon and get respectable time). All this can be done in under 2h, so I think it could be easy fit for marathon.

What do you think? Any other ideas?
