What kind of genre do you call this?

On paper this should be one of my favorite arena brawler games. A fighting arena hide and seek game! However the game is limited by its terrible map design. As well as the rather weak and overly simple combat. I grew to like the game but it is very frustrating at times because of the life issue (see the category rules.)
