Alright, so I got Long Stretch for the second time today, and I think I've finally figured out what causes it.
I believe that getting this skip is all determined on whether Lamar is right behind you or next to you or not.
He was pretty far behind due to just how quick I was running through dudes, so if you can do it quickly, then it's probably possible to get the skip each time.
Also, you CANNOT mission fail at any point during this, otherwise the entire skip is done for. So keep an eye on your health.
Could some other people try to run through this as quickly as possible and see what happens?
This is a hotly-contested elephant in the room. Let's address it.
