How is it going with the speedrunning blackbird64? I would highly recommend Deadlocked as a beginner game to speedrun.

So the game version in the resources has a trojan so I didn't want to use that version so I used the one on https://biomediaproject.com/bmp/play/web-games/mnog/ (2001 version). This one allows you to change from 18fps to 30fps and causes the game to reload, this can prevent softlocks and you can reroll the fights at the last part. Would this be allowed?

I also use a controller, tried both controller and keyboard but can't get the same thing with the aliens. It's not a big deal either way, was just wondering if there was something that I was missing. Can't really be bothered to look more into this.

I have tried spamming esc, space, enter, shift, ctrl, tab, doesn't seem like it does anything.

I was looking to get back into any% and I noticed that the alien counter after each boss fight in the current WR by Adamspeedruns counts down in 4's? Does anyone know the reason for this?

I don't think so, there is no category for that in ILs. I have only done co-op on any%.

Looked it up in the instruction manual. When you play co-op you get an ability bar that goes up just like in single player mode but to activate it in co-op both players have to press L3 or R3 at the same time and then you get a dmg boost or a shield. I thought it was first a bug in the game because no one else did it but it was only available in co-op mode. So if there are any other co-op players out there now you know because I for sure had no clue.

When watching the fastest run on any% co-op I noticed that they do some weird grey cloud thing so the bosses (boss 2 and 3) take way more dmg. Is this some known bug because I don't see the top score in any% using this bug.

That's crazy, maybe we will stick with the ps2 for now xD

Okay thanks for all the help. Just one last thing :) you mention that it's an easy fix with the lag, is there somewhere you can look it up how to solve it? If I would bump into that problem.

I managed to do Sneeps skip now (barely), later in the video is me trying my dearest doing the regular way but I'm not even close.

I'm just wondering now if it's worth getting the ps3 version of the game but I have heard that the fps and speed of the game can get really bad in co-op mode. Have they updated it or do just to hope for the best?

Hi I've looked through all the fail cancel tutorials but I can't do this jump on the ice planet. I do the whole L2, L2, (L2 R1), triangle, X, X, Square. I'm not sure if I'm starting to soon or if I'm pressing the buttons to slow. Don't know if youtube links are allowed.

Well that is just perfect timing for me :D just got my hands on an elgato. I have wanted to submit a run for quite a while now so it's nice to see that other people are doing it to. :)

When I checked here a few months ago this website was quite quiet. Feels like there are new runs now everyday. What has caused this sudden interest? Or am I missing something? Anyways it's super fun to see all these new runs (and the awsome bugs that I learn). Looking forward competing against you all. :)
