As many folks probably know by now, RayForce has recently recieved a new port alongside it's sequels. I've spent a little bit of time playing this port and am curious as to how it could be incorporated onto the leaderboards. The Ray'z port seems to perform better than playing on MAME and is far more accessible to a larger audience. The upcoming Steam version should further enhance that. We'll likely need to come up with some rules for running this port though. Primarily regarding rapid-fire, as there's a 30 shots/second feature that could be a bit unfair to MAME players. In the meantime, I'll withhold the other run I recorded. This one seems to run 1:1 with MAME, via an enabled PCB Rapid-fire option. I don't quite understand everything; but, it felt far closer to legit.

Hello, a couple hours ago I stumbled upon this page. I didn't know that RayForce finally got a SR.c page (had previously looked before March this year); and, I decided to see how well I could do with a speedrun of the game. Half and hour later, I check back in after a casual attempt... and the existing run is gone and there is no moderator. What on earth is going on here?

Hello, I had previously attempted to route Bug Too! (the sequel to Bug!). I have been unable to continue since October last year due to IRL issues, and my Sega Saturn console having severe problems. However, I have seen another runner complete an any% speedrun via an emulator. Is it possible to add the game, with a separation between console and emulated runs, with this run... or will a console run be required before the game can be added?

Title pretty much says it, I was wondering exactly which DS emulators are approved for use in Dawn/Dusk runs?

I happened to notice that both submitted runs use this tank. Is this a case of preference or is this more for the sake of consistency?

After a discussion for a different game, I became intrested in seeing the differences between load times for Unmasked. This is what I found: Note that the footage reviewed was at 240p via an S-Video cable for each system.

Of course, I was only able to test with the systems and discs I have, as I lack any sort of Xbox system and am unfortunate to not have a launch edition Playstation 3 (rumor has it that this system is superb for speedrunning most if not all PS2 titles). Hopefully this information will be of use.

A question about this particular version of the game. What are the rulings for submitting a speedrun of this particular version? In order to run the game, I need to use Korama's Sega PC Reloaded to properly run the game, and to comfortably use capture software. What is permitted and what is not with the settings?
