Hey everyone!

As some of you might already know, there was a big glitch discovery recently! This glitch involves playing the game in windowed mode, then moving the window during a midair parry. For some reason, this prevents Chai from falling, and allows you to fly around freely. This is known as the Windowed Flying Glitch, or WFG for short.

Due to concerns about trializing the run (already saves 30 minutes in Any% NG+), many people have been calling to split it into a separate leaderboard, and we've decided to have a community poll about what to do with the glitch.

We have 3 options:

• Leave the boards as they are; allow the Windowed Flying Glitch in every category
• Separate leaderboard for runs that use the Windowed Flying Glitch
• Separate leaderboard for runs that use the Windowed Flying Glitch or Parry Jumps

We'll only be allowing runners or people planning to run the game (actively practicing/learning) to vote on this poll, so you'll need to either provide your speedrun.com name, your Discord name (if you've been in the community but don't have a run on speedrun.com yet), or some other proof of running/learning the game.

Your names will only be collected to verify that you are a runner of the game. At no point will your name and vote be seen side by side.

This is a Ranked Choice Vote, so you'll pick a first choice and second choice from the 3 options. If your first choice is the least popular, your vote will be counted for your second choice instead.

Also, just as a reminder, please do not submit runs utilizing WFG until we make a decision! To be clear, WFG will be allowed somewhere on the leaderboards after this, so feel free to practice or do runs, just hold off on submitting them until we have a place for them!

The boards are now officially live! Runs can now be submitted and verified. We have full-game runs and IL's open for Any%, and we plan on opening the Rhythm Tower category soon as well after some extra testing. Keep in mind you should really, really, really read the specific rules we have in place. If you do not, you may accidentally get your run invalidate which we both do not want. Additionally, because some runs were submitted before rules were in place, they may get rejected as we are requiring all runs to have the 'Auto Action Mode' disabled, and it must be shown at the beginning or end of the run. We are giving a pass to a few runs submitted but in the future you may get your run rejected if this isn't shown.

Hey everyone! Super excited to run this game and create a wonderful community. We will be creating a two week long embargo before we start accepting runs, which means they will open up on February 8th. You are still allowed to submit runs, but we recommend waiting a bit as they will not be accepted until that date and may be invalidated or out of date if they are ran before we properly establish rules. This will also allow people to discover the game and enjoy it casually before they begin to speedrun it, lets us to establish categories and rules, and also means we can get a timer that removes loads built into the run for PC.
