FranceSalut Juju ! On est vraiment désolé d'avoir rejeté ton run, c'est une erreur et surtout un cas très particulier !
En fait quand tu lances un run via le bouton Reset ou quand tu le lances via l'écran de mort (quand il te te demande de sauvegarder, puis qu'ensuite tu fais "ne pas continuer") tu ne vas pas atterrir au même endroit dans le menu pause. Dans le cas ou tu lances le run via le Reset, tu vas arriver sur la carte lors de ta toute première pause, alors que via l'écran de mort, tu vas arriver sur l'écran des objets. C'est légèrement plus rapide en speedrun mais on a décidé de le bannir car c'était pas très significatif et surtout un peu chiant un mettre en place ^^'
SAUF que la modératrice qui a vérifié ton run ne savait pas que sur la version PAL du jeu, tu commences directement sur cet écran des objets (ne me demande pas pourquoi)
Ton run devrait donc être accepté !
Second ESA and it was great c: I'll try to be a meano and find some downsides though:
-CRT TVs. But you guys already know what to do about it. I'm running old games (OoT, SM64...) and I play on a LCD screen (Haier TV 56cm). it works really well, pretty cheap, you can plug composite, HDMI, VGA etc... And I never felt any input delay. So yeah you can definitely get rid of the CRTs imo :)
-The Promo code about Dominos. Yeah that sounds weird to complain about this but why do we always have promo codes for unhealthy food ? it's bugging me a bit, especially for that kind of event.
-Where were the huge TVs from last year ? :o
-Some people leaving the junks around them :/ Not ESA's organitors fault of course. Next time make sure to put a sign with something saying "please don't let your goddam coffee alone for a night close the electrical outlets and runners' consoles"
But Overall the event was aboslutely great, I just had to complain because I'm french. On the other side we had:
+A very good hotel, really good rooms, no problems with the showers, beds, something unclean etc.... Shoutouts to the waiters and room cleaners.
+The location, nothing to say, it really can't be better.
+The general happiness of people
+The price, it goes with the hotel point in a way. Thanks to the promo code for the rooms, we got some very cheap rooms imo. I mean 345€ for 9 nights with breakfast included in such a quality hotel.... It is impossible to do better.
+The 2 streams, it's a really good idea. I've seen some people complaining about it, but I guess they're just jealous :p
+I don't know what kind of tissu you used to prevent some tables to be damaged. But it was neat lol
+Probably a lot of things I forgot to write right now.

I guess tha makes sense. But I'm 1st in the category I submitted and 8th in Any% (no one better than me is coming at ESA unfortunately and there is not even a minute of difference between Torje and I, how short is a minute in your life ?) that's why I find it a bit (just a tiny bit, it's not the end of the world) disapointing.
Hum... I didn't know you had to be famous to submit at ESA :( Considering you removed all the runs of OoT, I'm even more surprised by the answer given in the post. Any advices to increase my popularity for the next ESA ? c: I can understand about SM64 though. But I wouldn't like to bring my wii to show a run of 20 minutes and that's all.

Sorry to flood this thread but I find it extremely weird that all my submissions were kicked out (especially one of them, since it has been required by a lot of people that were really hype about it. Removing it seems odd to me) and also really suprising since there are all quite short (less than an hour). I'd like some good explanations because I feel a bit disapointed to be honnest :/

Edit: After thinking about it, you may have considered the lack of stream on my channel of the categories I submited, but it's also because I'm streaming a lot on another channel.

You should maybe move child dungeons here aswell, and why not adding child dungeons RBA ? (or Ocarina of Time RTA, idk how we should call this category) If you want some help, maybe you can add more oot mods ? I'd be glad to help aswell
move All Medallions from the miscellaneous runs of OoT to put it there, you don't even finish the game in this category. Add max% Child/Adult, I know there are almost no runs and those are super hard categories, but maybe it could be a little more popular if you add them here ? Add King Zora Day if you can find back the leaderboard of zsr (ask mzx maybe ?) there were quite a few runs. Add 20 hearts ? I think Tash and Sva did runs I also had the idea of Any% legacy (no gohma clip / void warp / GIM) but I don't know if that's a good idea ^^' there would be a lot of runs but this would be hard to find everything
