Leontoast has been spamming these forums as of late. The Speedrun.com forums, especially for game like Toadette's Christmas Adventure should be taken seriously. But of course, Leontoast is making a joke of these forums with his unserious, unprofessional, and useless messages. Due to this, I propose that we should not only remove him from these leaderboards completely, but also work to get him entirely removed from this website. Please reply with your opinions.

Today I was in a run to 8-3 where I could've easily gotten a sub 5. This run was -0.3 (3:36.2 8-2 split) with bad judges and slow pipejump in 8-2. I had nerves and did my usual 8-3 route (kill first koopa, top, and jump over all), but I was killed by a hard hammer thrown by the third hammer bro which normally isn't there. This has happened before, but I figured I either split inaccurately or started my timer at -3.62 rather than -3.27.

The video below is a comparison of me trying to replicate what happened in savestates. The left had the same issue while the right successfully made it through with the only differences being a few added jumps and some jumps that were delayed by a few frames.

These were both from the same savestate (-3.27, bad judges, slow pipejump) and were both played on consecutive attempts.

So my 8-4 IL got accepted, but I had one question. Antony finished a 44.799 with fast accel and the time was a 316. I did no fast accels with tons of frames to save all over. I would like if a mod could confirm that my time is as shows or make sure Antony's time is really what it shows.

Hey, I got a down warp in BitDW in a 1 star run. I have never seen anything like this before and I was wondering if anyone had ever seen this.

Lately I've been doing some TAS work on Minus World Ending and looking at the 1-2 clip. My only issue is that I can't use Left+Right because my version of FCEUX just cancels out both inputs. Is there any way I can get around this or am I doing anything wrong?

I think a fun category would be playing SMB 1, 2, and 3 in one run. A rough estimate of a speedrun like this would be around 25-30 minutes. For this, you would run Super Mario Bros. 1 any%. For Super Mario Bros. 2, you run also do a simple any% run. For Super Mario Bros. 3, the run would be an any% (No Wrong Warp) run. Super Mario Bros. could get something like a 4:58 - 5:30 depending on who runs this category. If I were to play it, I'd guess I would get around a 5:20 or something around that. Super Mario Bros. 2 USA I think should easily be beatable in 10:30. The Super Mario Bros. 3 without wrong warp can be done in 12 minutes or less. I really do think this is a good idea for a category. If a run of this needs to exist before anyone accepts or declines this request, I will work on one.

Where can I play this legendary game?

Where can I find this game? I got some version of it to work but it looked completely different from any of the any% run's versions.

I counted the frame from both me and Jhynjhiruu's personal bests. I came to the conclusion that my run, which is actually 128.562 seconds (or 2:08.562) is in front of Jhynjhiruu's time which is 128.595 (or 2:08.595). Please make these changes to our times or make me a moderator and I can do it myself.

I may have thought of a new strat when you enter the bowser chase part of the game. I thought maybe you could just run into bowser a few times and with the boost he gives it may be faster for the bigger and longer jumps. I doubt this, but someone could try to be sure. If this was a new strategy, I really don't think it would save much time but it's worth a try.

I can play this game just fine without any issues until after the "awesome face" section. When Mario dismounts the exploding vehicle, my game crashes and I am not sure why. Is there any way I can fix this?

I see Super Mario Bros. runners such as Kosmic or Darb who use a counter for when they make 1-1 or 4-1 FPG. I was wondering if anyone here had the .dll file for this counter as I would like to use it for Minus World Ending and other games.

I made a post about a month ago because I thought that 16 track categories should have itemless with and without skip runs. It was met with quite a few people agreeing. Me and many other people have had runs killed because of item luck. The Strawpoll below will hopefully make it so that we know if the majority of voters want 16 track itemless categories, I will contact the moderators asking to add these categories if "yes" is ahead. I will check the Strawpoll on 2/26/17 at 1:30 PM MST and whichever option is ahead will win.

I was thinking about how some categories don't exist. You see itemless categories for 32 tracks, but there arent any for the 16 track runs. I think a nitro no items and a retro no items should be a category along with the no skip variations of those two. It would add more runs as well as get rid of that rng that kills so many runs in nitros and retros. Let me know your opinions, but I think no item variations of the 16 track runs should exist.
