In order to get 100% you have to fulfill the following requirements:

Collect all 880 non duplicate moons from every kingdom
Buy every souvenir
Buy every costume (except for 1.2 DLC)
Buy every hat (except for 1.2 DLC)
Capture all 52 enemies
Fill out the entire music list (82 songs)

(* the 1.2 DLC hats and costumes are marked as "special" in the shop inventory)

This can be verified with a star appearing on your save after completing all of these.

In theory there is no limit but it would be good to see noticable effort put in. Taking breaks is encouraged if you know you'll need a long time, if you plan them to be between games then you can have a more representative time on the IGT timing, as long as your run stays retimable. I personally wouldn't attempt sleepless anyway until you're sure you can go below 40 hours. A rough blind estimate (not factoring in breaks) is about 80 hours, if you can beat that the time will certainly not be viewed as too slow if anyone decides to complain for whatever reason.

I think it can and it should be perfectly alright. It will cause a minor name change of the category once a solo run gets completed and submitted but should be perfectly alright. (Name change referring to the idea of having "Relay" as part of the category name, as long as nobody does a solo run) Of course there is the arbitrary limit of wanting to see 3 different runners to go and complete a run of it so it makes sense to even have a leaderboard list them on SRC. That rule only not getting applied when its not really part of our core community and rather fitting to a different Mario community but without a place to exist on. I did change the Archives sheet a little so we can list all categories that have not made it to the CE board there together with the achieved times.

Usually for "normal" Multi Mario submissions we'd need 3 runs from different runners for a new category to be listed but NSMB Series is treated differently since its more "outside-ish" and only needs 1 run to get a category. In this case it would only be featured on the Category Extensions board for now.

This is mainly done to avoid empty leaderboards just because someone has an idea. If it is actually a good idea, people would already run it, right?

"Multiple games at once" is more referring to the concept of viewing all games in a given Multi Mario run as individual runs done back-to-back in a marathon setting. We haven't had a proper discussion on this yet but I'd argue that you shouldn't play a different game to achieve completion in the game you want to complete. ACE in SMW and SMB3 only require these games themselves (and in the case of SMW maybe more hardware like a second controller, this is the setup I use for 0 Exit for example: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10q--6Cmv_j4ZQTkdzm1qELzHNxGgG8wSqZ074nk19Rc/edit ) so they don't come into any conflict with this specific rule.

So in short: you would need to set up ACE for every single game if it is ok to do so. Otherwise this is not fulfilling the criteria of not playing more than 1 run at the same time, as you use the same ACE setup for all the different games, meaning you are doing multiple games at once.

the relay tab has been added, feel free to submit the run if you want, I'm slightly busy so I can only do it in a few hours (13 players in total can be submitted since this category has 13 games, rules for relay on console series do not appear for me right now but they exist and are the same as any other relay rule set on our boards)

If you want to see it consider doing one! A relay category can and will be added when it gets done, we're just avoiding to have empty categories that may not even be interesting for people.

The only requirement is getting all 380 Stars. For that you will need all golden flag and stamps up until the last world to unlock the last world. Then you only need to get all stars with time stopping as soon as your counter says 380 stars on screen.

Yeah, no category for that, I think that is mainly down to Volleyball. Kinda bs if you ask me but I think I wouldn't have an issue with it. It's not cheating since you just abuse the opportunity to use a 2nd controller, which the game allows you to do. For us that is just another case of slightly twisting the category rules for Multi Mario I guess, but that's just my view that may not be shared by the other mods.
