Potential idea for a new category. The goal is to get the camera, then fill the compendium as fast as possible. Run ends upon receiving the mysterious letter from Symin in the Hateno Ancient Tech lab.

Too long. Finding every individual weapon, creature, material, and enemy would take wayyyyy too long. First, you'd need to complete all the divine beasts to take pictures of the blights. Then, you'd have to find every material in the game. Then you'd need to find every weapon and creature and that would take a long time. It's not the best idea.

This is too long. Also try to do a run yourself and think of a route along with the idea. So many ideas are brought up by people, but no thought goes into it.

Completing the Compendium is part of 100%, and there are other long runs in existence. Also, I have practiced parts of this, and it is possible to find a route for this run.

But, you are right. I should have run through the whole thing and found a route that would confirmed work.

When 100% runners complete the compendium, they buy most of the photos. You have clearly stated that that's not allowed, so it's going to be very long because of that.

If you could buy the photos, then rupee duping makes it too fast. Maybe one section needs to be done manually and the others can be done by buying them. I don't know which section would be best for manual.

If one had to be manual, either special items or enemies, even if that includes Blights and such

How about enemies, as Blights have to be done manually anyways. (ie. Can't be bought)​

Also, there are specific spots to find every enemy in the game, allowing for easy routing.
