I also wouldn't add any of the bonus levels to the IL board because they are technically endless missions (unless for some reason there was massive interest in high score runs for the bonus levels, which I don't believe there is).

Hi, There hasn't been a individual levels board made yet due to lack of interest, part of the issue is replaying levels. I think there are level codes you can use to go to any particular level (although you'd need to re-enter them each time). I can set up an IL board at some point but I will let you know in advanced that video proof would still be required (just like full game runs).

Really neat tech, glad to see some new stuff is being found for this game. I'd love to learn more about how it works so I can implement it into runs (did some light testing already but I'd like to see how consistent it can be).

It would invalidate it for both categories. If you did it accidentally on the first special mission , you could then go to the other two special missions and that would be fine as a special mission submission. Mixing the missions however, would invalidate the run.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to follow, there should just be a big button you can press on the sidebar. Maybe just give the website a bit and try again and see if it works.

I understand the frustration of not being able to study their run, however, there are plenty of people who can help you with strats. Luckily with this game, outside of the boss fights, there are very little strats to really be studied. The only timesave you can get over other runners are in the boss fights and faster mashing through menus (which plenty of other runs do optimal strats, see WR for Beginner - Normal Missions)

I can assure you the run is definitely legitimate, if you have any doubt about that you can speak with WillTendo (who verified the run). I will not be removing this run because 1) why erase history of the game? 2) The run is from 2 years ago, I am very confident that the time is not optimal and could be easily beaten with a bit of effort 3) It is still WR whether there is proof now or not since when it was verified, there was proof. I'm also not sure why you think he is banned on SRC. When someone is banned on SRC their name color turns gray out and it says "banned" when you hover over it. his profile only seems to be inactive, and inactive =/= banned.

Again if you want help learning the game I am more than willing to explain anything you are confused about.

Hi TrickyBoy, I'll see if I can contact WR holder about this and see what has happened. Unfortunately, there may not be a way to recover it, however, I see no reason to remove his run. His run was watched and verified at the time WillTendo and I took over the board so the run did exist and was legit, whether the video is still there (keep in mind it was submitted 2 years ago) it is still WR as of right now. If you have any questions about learning the game/run I would be more than welcome to help since the best reference video for the category is no longer available.

You can run the game in any difficulty you want, there is a difficulty choice you can select when submitting runs. I'm not sure how much of a difference this makes on the route (as I don't believe anyone has looked into it/ documented differences) but I personally see no reason to add a sub-category unless there is a lot of interest in the category.

As of 2/13/2021, I have decided to split the boards between n64/emu. The reason for this is because n64 suffers from numerous points of unavoidable frame rate drops, where emu has none. This makes them non-competitive and splitting them remedies this.

From reading this its hard to see why the category should be there in the first place. Yes the other boards may have it, but no one has chose to run using the toads or 1p2c for this version of the game and submit it. If someone does, cool, talk to the community and then add the category to the boards or extended leader boards. Just adding them though when no one is running or has submitted a run for said category doesn't make a lot of sense. Also this forum has been up for 4 days as of me posting this and no one has submitted a time for either of those two categories; they could have done any recording of it and submitted for wr by now. If no serious run of the category is done/submitted by a week, why even have the category?

I find the name of any% (no door skips) to be an inaccurate representation of what the category is about. All the "doors" that are skipped are labeled as gates in the game and the only tricks used in any% are gate clips and wall clips. So as I see it, any% (no door skips) should really bee called Glitchless, since that is a better representation of what the category is.
