It varies quite a bit. I've had runs verified the same day I submitted them, and I've had runs that took 2 weeks to get verified. I always try to be patient with the mods. They're busy people.
I'd still like to be a mod too. All my friends have been laughing at me for the past 2 years because I don't have any P:HFBB clout.
The title of the game on scratch is spelled “Sandwhich” and the src page should reflect that.
If the IRL category would be running 100m and eating a sandwich, I’d be down.
I found Woodle on sale for a dollar, and I thought it’d be fun to speedrun. I watched the any% record for the Xbox one edition and they skip W1 and head straight into W6. When I skip W1, W2 loads, but W6 doesn’t. Am I doing something wrong, or was the game recently patched? I’m playing on version 1.0.0.2.
Hey y'all! I just found this game on the nintendo switch eshop, and I'd really love to speedrun it, however, theres no category for nintendo switch. Where should I submit my runs?
I've never been able to consistently get one-cycles, but it could be possible. I play with 2 remotes, and I've learned that if I do a slight hesitation during the first phase of my fight (before Matt gets dizzy), then finish him off with uppercuts, my chances of getting a one-cycle go up by quite a lot. It is still far from consistent though.
I did a bit of testing myself, and I was unable to find proof that digital is faster than physical. It is possible that it may load slightly faster, but it is not significant. About half a second is lost across an 18 hole run by playing physical compared to digital.
I have had the same issues with my DS shots being laggy. Especially on hole 6 when the ball rolls into the water on the 2nd DS. Maybe hitting the grass before the ball hits water is an issue too?
I'm a retired co-op mission speedrunner, but I'm very glad to see that this game has some new moderators! Hopefully, this community will continue to thrive in the future!
I have a proposition.
Dongo Category Extensions:
Pacifist- Rules: Cannot hurt or kill any bugs, or the cat (timing is as usual) Categories Available: Any% and 100% (Glitchless is impossible because of the final boss fight)
Damageless- Rules: Cannot take any damage across the entire run (timing is as usual) Categories Available: Any%, Any% Glitchless, 100%, and 100% Glitchless
Cheesy Boy (Working Title)- Rules: Collect 100 cheese in each level. The levels must be the same order as standard runs, but you can exit the stage once your cheese counter gets to 100 or higher. Time ends when 100+ cheese is collected in the factory/boss fight. Categories Available: Any% and Any% Glitchless
There are some games, such as Wii Sports Club’s level speeds such as “beat the champion” that exist for some sports but do not exist for others. (Ex: bowling doesn’t have a champion, but tennis does)
The leaderboard had the speedruns that can’t be completed as .001 seconds so that people know that the runs cannot be completed. It is annoying, but PC Dongo, as terrible as it is, it is still a game that some masochist in the future may want to speedrun.
