Probably not spliced, but the submission is pretty garbage-tier and not reliable enough to actually keep the time on the leaderboard. To me it seems as if he is taking a laggy video, then putting the livesplit timer on top of it, then recording that. The timer doesn't lag along with the video. Regardless of intentions, it was worth removing.
The run isn't that bad tbh, it's just that noone wants to do it because it's so long. Someone did a more optimised run of it that was faster, but also at 120 fps
It's possible to bind an item and cancel binding at the same time, so it isn't bound, but has a loveheart symbol in your inv.
You can use window capture and it will show it. Why not use the new OBS though?
I really don't get how nobody notices these things. There are 6 mods and yet none of them can notice something this obvious? The runs themselves are under 2 minutes. It doesn't even take that long to check a run properly.
Also LoveBot, you have a few other runs that are also mistimed in the same way. Your HoC - Any% run which should be 15s 553ms, aswell as any that have been timed using that timer.
LoveBot's WR video shows a timer that is counting the seconds in frames, at 30 FPS. So when it says 1;16;20, it's equivalent to 1m 16s 666ms. Should probably make it clearer in the rules to show time correctly.
It seems like Keen's time is wrong aswell. It should be 1m 17s 590ms, as shown by the timer on his video at the end, and not 1m 17s 159ms.
If you make a rule ensuring people cap their FPS at 60, then they can download dxtory and limit their FPS as shown: As you can see there is an overlay on the game so you know what the FPS is throughout the run. Prevents people with 144Hz monitors from having an advantage.
Getting out of the Memory Lounger and entering Shattered (Memories) with power armour.
The timer me and Cr1tikal used is the one in Sony Vegas.
