Running on ps4 is totally fine, you just need to time your runs with the loads included.
Yes downloading the discord app and making a profile is normal. A runner by the name of SnowconeJoey has already routed the minutemen run and he is in the discord. If you would like to watch his run I will also link it here.
what kind of run are you doing? I am not familiar with an impossible version of the main quest. Also I recommend you join the discord as there are plenty of others who would help you with routing ideas
Because the category is too obscure. Not many people would run it at all. However there are plenty of other categories that are fun to run :)
You can but it will be slower than the original since you can’t do fade-in skips
On console you would need to get a physical copy of fallout 4 from around the release date of fallout 4 and disable auto updates
You are not forced to run on 1.1.30 but it is highly recommended for any% considering that the vendor glitch is a major part of the route. If you are doing glitchless then it is not a big deal. The timer must be visible if you want to submit your run with in game time. The timer also acts as the load remover. If you don’t use a load remover then the run will be timed based on the length of the video.
This would most likely not become a category because of how niche it is. You can still do runs of it if you want, but this is a discussion to have in the fallout speedruns discord.
You could do a run like that if you really wanted to, but a category being created for it will probably never happen
I am not sure why the partial backup is gone, but I do know that if you go into the fallout 4 folder in the one drive and manually select each folder and file, then it will download as a complete one drive zip.
