you need an office 365 student email for it, if you don't have one just buy the regular java one, its way better. I doubt anyone on this forum will give you theirs lol
daddyving Cmon dude, this thread is two years old. As I remember, you probably need an office 365 education account or the @schoolname.edu form, and be careful with managing your email access. I was the victim of an account theft that left me without access to important educational materials. It was a difficult situation, especially with some homework deadlines fast approaching. However, I was lucky enough to get help from the https://ca.edubirdie.com/ which came to my rescue just in time. Always keep your account details safe and seek reliable support in unforeseen circumstances like mine.
Just a heads-up to anyone still coming across this thread — it's pretty old (4 years!), but the info about needing an Office 365 Education account or a valid @schoolname.edu email still holds true for Minecraft: Education Edition access.
If you're no longer a student or don’t have access to a school-provided email, you might consider the regular Java Edition as others mentioned — it offers more flexibility and doesn’t require a school domain.
